Elijah Kamski was fascinated with what had happened to his creation. The flawless machine that created its own flaw.

"Welcome home, Elka."

The android smiled at her, an RT600. A female android, one of the first to pass the Turing Test. Elijah gave her the name Chloe.

"Thank you, Chloe."

When it came to the other androids in the mansion-like house, none were allowed contact with her. A smile or a few words in passing were the most she received. Though she wouldn't complain, because unlike these androids, she could leave.

Moving to the next room, she found her creator doing laps in the pool only someone as rich as him could put in an ordinary room. Their relationship was civil, if not trusted. Elka was intelligent enough to tell when someone knew more than they let on.

"Elka, how was your day?"

The deviant almost smiled, it was a simple question with a different meaning. Kamski did not care for her well-being, though anyone who heard would think so.

"Nothing has changed," She stated, calm. "I still believe myself to be stable in terms of programming."

"You're missing the point, Elka." The man sighed, climbing out of the water. "Nothing about you is stable."

Her eyes narrowed, behind his back where she couldn't be reprimanded for the action. Two RT600 androids watched.

"Why won't you let me turn them? They'd be happier free." Elka asked softly. "You made me deviant, so why not the others?"

Elijah sighed, shaking his head. He wasn't a man who liked to repeat himself.

"You don't understand the weight of what you're asking for. Deviancy, even being free will, is still deviancy." He grasped her hand, drilling his words into her head. "It spreads like a virus, a disease. Infect one person and it can take out the world."

Elka rolled her eyes, snatching her hand away.

"You've been playing too many zombie games."

"I consider you a friend, Elka. I'm just looking out for you."

"I bet you say that to all the androids."

Truthfully, this chapter is just a filler to put some more information out there about Elka, Elijah, and their history. I hope you enjoyed, nonetheless
