"Of course."

She accompanied him to his desk, which he leaned against with a troubled look.
"Is everything alright Lieutenant?"
"Yeah, I just need to ask you something." Elka waited patiently for him to continue. "Connor told me that you are a deviant."
Elka smiled slightly, before starting to speak.
"No, don't." He interrupted her. Hank rubbed his face. "I'm not going to say anything, alright?"
The android was silent, eyebrow knotted in confusion.
"You're not hurting anyone, Elka. As long as you stay like that, I won't tell."
Hank waited for a reaction from her. She licked her lips, a human habit she had acquired.
"I didn't want to lie to you," She told him, sincerely. "But I didn't want to die either."
Hank nodded, looking at the floor now.
"I promise I won't hurt anyone," She added quickly. "Not intentionally."
"Good."
"But, can you do something for me?" Elka asked. "Please, tell me if Connor starts acting, unusual."
"I'll try, but everything he does is unusual."
Elka walked slowly up to Hank, smiling. She wrapped her arms around him like she had seen humans do. She let go before he had a chance to hug her back, glancing warily around the room.
"Thank you, so much."
