Reyn's P.O.V.

"Oh so tomorrow is going to be your race?" Kas asked, tilting her head a bit. "Yeah." I replied a short response. We were walking down the hallways of the school, trying to find our next classes. "I see. That's your classroom now right? I'm going at the end of the hall, my classdoom is really far I guess." She laughed a bit. "Well then, we'll part from here. Good luck!!! I'll be cheering for you!!" Kas hugged me like theres no tomorrow. "Oi!" I sighed. "Sheesh, we've been really busy in school this days and we have so small time together." Kassandra let go of me and pouted. "But hey I promise to be there at the race! I'll be there even if I have to skip class hehe! Bye!" And she ran off. "What?! You idiot--" Before I could say anything, she's already dashing towars her clasrom.

That stupid idiot! What if she'll really skip class? She's always asking for trouble!

I sighed once again and stepped inside my class.

I heard Miss Vlan is giving our subject a free time to go around the school.

This the last opportunity we can go around the school.

It's been days here and we've been really working our ass out. Me and Zack go around the campus every night so I'm confident and ready for tomorrow. I wonder how is Kas doing and all, I haven't heard her babbling about stuffs for long, she's been busy with her major as well.

I saw Zack on his seat. He seemed to notice me and smiled as he waved his hands at me. I waved back as well with a blank face and approached him.

"Should we go around one last time?" I asked him. "I told you I can't go around with the sun." He said. "So, we're ready?" "Yup, don't tell me you're doubting yourself." He smirked. "Of course not." I'm pretty much prepared for tomorrow, so I have no complaints right now.

[Timeskip, Saturday]

Everyone seems fired up for the competition to the extent that they're not wearing uniforms anymore,they are now wearing their in-game clothes.

"I wasn't informed that there will be an in-game dress code." I heard a voice from behind and exactly knew who owns it. I turned around to see Zack in his uniform. "Me too." I chuckled while he eyed me up and down then also smiled.

"So we've searched the entire school where there will be possibilities that Ms. Vlan will be hiding. So it's gonna be easy." He mentioned. I nodded as an agreement and watch as a huge flat TV screen appeared infront of us with Ms. Vlan's face with a sassy expression.

"I assume that everyone from my class are all here. And if not then there will be punishments." She announced.

"The whole academy is your battle ground and as for the rules... there's none so do as you please. That's all and goodluck! I have high expectations for you all." And with that the tv disappeared and gunshot was heard.

"Come on! I think it's the signal." I dashed off towards the school's rooftop. Zack followed me and knew exactly what I'm planning.

Were gonna start off from the high grounds and finish off at the groundfloor.

Every pair is either following us or took different routes to start with. I jolt a bit after realizing some weird feeling underneath me. I stopped and heard Zack underneath me. "Go, remember I'm not too good during day time I'll be supporting you in my shadow form." Understanding, I dashed inside the only entrance of the rooftop that connects to the first hallway of the school.

Once I got in, I swiftly locked the door hearing some gasps and growls. Zack returned into his human form and stands infront of the door raising his hand with his index and middle fingers  the only ones attached and the rest were bent down. "1st barrier: flame's cage." He casted and a burning fire suddenly appeared all over the door consuming it whole.
