Seriously, this guy is making me nervous. I just nodded and pursed my lip so it'll stop trembling.
Im just too nervous Q^Q
"Now now, nii-san you're scaring her. Don't worry Reyn I still have 3 days to spend training with you, you'll be a pro at handling katana in a short time." Ranbu put his arm around my shoulder making a peace sign with his fingers and smiled at me. In any way, I felt relieved, this guy isn't that scary after all unlike Hiro-san who could eat you up in a sec just by looking at you.
"Oh, okay thanks Ranbu-san." I chuckled a bit and made an 'ok' hand sign at him.
"That's the spirit. Anyway I know you're quite tired so we have an extra room up stairs we'll make it yours for the mean time. We have rules here, as a swordsman-I mean swordswoman discipline will always be on top of your list. That includes disciplining your hunger, your emotions, and especially yourself. Coming on second is stamina. As you can see we have to train our stamina into another level where it can endure a long run and importantly can cope up with the opponent's swordsmanship skills. Third, wound endurance. I know it's quite hard for you to master this but it is a must, we can never know where our enemies will be attacking again right? So there's no time for us to relax when hiding. Fourth, train your observation skills thoroughly. Fifth, it is always appreciated that you'll train non-stop, so I suggest that you should train like a beast but look like a beauty. And lasty every sworsdman's quote a scar at the back is a swordsman's shame." Ranbu was filled with seriousness and determination while he was saying the rules not 'here' but I'll call it 'the swordsman rule'.
After hearing all those I confidentally nodded and I'm sure I am being carried away by Ranbu-san's seriousness. "It's not too much for you right Reyn?" Ranbu stood infront of me looking down with a smile planted on his face. I shook my head "It is, but I can do all of those I swear. There's a reason why I got the dragon's badge." I grinned and made a thumbs up. "Well, that's good to hear from a kid like you, I appreciate your confidence." Hiro stated resting his arm on his katana. "I am not a kid, I'm a certified teenager with an age of 15 sir." I spoke up rather quickly which he was surprised and its written all over his face. He glared at me and its peircing through my soul I swear.
Talking back is a bad idea after all Q__Q
"Reyn where did rule one go hmm?" Ranbu crossed his arms. "Ugh right, emotions. Im sorry Hiroshi-san." I calmed down and bowed down infront of Hiro-san. "You'll make it through kid and it's fine when you won't bow down while saying sorry okay? Unless its someone in a higher position." Hiro sighed and walked past us.
"Where to nii-san?" Ranbu asked with his hand on his hip. "Let her eat, after that we'll start the training I'll be waiting outside." Hiro waved a hand and slowly disappeared in our sights. "Right, let's go you need to gather up energy since Hiro nii-san can be quite merciless when it comes to training."Ranbu laughed and started to drag me in the guild's kitchen.
[Time skip]
"Again."
I slashed around the empty air for the 15th time. I panted hard since it was non-stop and my biceps are hurting.
"This is where rule three can be learned together with rule one. Again Reyn, 15 slashes are just warm ups,you need to at least reach 50 that's where level 2 of your stamina and self discipline goes." Hiro stated with crossed arms. I was panting like theres no tomorrow but nevertheless I positioned myself into another slashing stance, and breathed heavily and wasted no time to train again.
