THE SITUATION BECAME quite uphill. With Evangeline being arrested and placed in the Raft, the time to take a rest was abruptly slipped away. When the sun began to rise, everyone also began to work things out respectively, thus making both Bianca Adler and Jillian Kim were sent to scout more about the Moonstone while Tony and Rhodes, plus Peter who couldn't stop adjuring to be involved, organized a plan to get Evangeline out of the Raft or more to forcibly release her no matter which clause they would violate later.
Searching out about the Moonstone was certainly not an easy case, all things were regarded as runic. Everything constantly directed them to cave in, but they couldn't do that, not when they were close to sweeping up a solution how to control Evangeline's abilities. Bianca learned that Evangeline had met Hank Pym to take her to her parents' grave, he told her things that only one or two people knew, which meant Hank could possibly pass on anything he knew about Evangeline's past life to them, so they went on the lookout for the former S.H.I.E.L.D.'s consultant overnight. And unfortunately, according to Hank, the only person who might be able to help was unreachable.
Hank kept tinkering the button of the radio, but nothing changed. A static sound adorned their ears every now and then until eventually, he stopped, letting out a disillusion sigh. "See? We can only reach Judith if she wants to."
"Do you know where she is?"
"If I know, I'm not gonna hold you both here," Hank stated as a matter of fact. "Besides right now, I can't do anything striking, not when the State's eyes are on me and my daughter. Thanks to Scott."
"Right," Jillian nodded understandingly. "You created the Ant-Man suit."
"But, I think I know someone who can help."
Jillian's head perked up. "Who?"
"Steve Rogers."
"Yeah, well, we're not talking with that man," Bianca replied, resting her chin on her palm. "Evangeline's gonna kill us, they're not in the good terms at the moment."
"Does she not have a phone?" Jillian questioned, tapping her fingers on the desk impatiently.
Bianca snorted. "You're talking about a woman who has lived for decades, she's literally as ancient as Rogers."
"Steve has a phone—"
"That he rarely uses," Bianca finished, throwing a look at her. "He needed days to discover how to put his phone on silent mode. Also let's not forget, he sent a goddamn flip phone via FedEx to Tony."
Hank chuckled lightly and shook his head. "That bad, huh?"
The sound of clicking heels pecking the ground collected their attention right away as Hope Van Dyne walked toward them with a brownish folder in hand. A solemn expression that silenced anyone rested on her face, fostering a tension that had not fully existed before.
