Two days in Paris and I was already getting in the mood of the city. We partially forgot about our rockstar lifestyle and started to behave quite fancy and mature. We were dressing elegant, having dinner in expensive restaurants, drinking champagne and old wines instead of beer.
My French was absolutely extraordinaire compared to Alex's and the hotel staff already loved me and brought us free drinks and food.
"Even the hotel staff loves you!!! I don't know what you've got, girl, but there's something wicked about you!" Alex laughed one day.
Also, he insisted on visiting some touristic attractions, even though both of us already knew them.
"I've never visited them with you, love!" was his argument every time I was trying to avoid going in some tourist-crowded place.
It had been a very sunny day, we'd been to Sacre Coeur and then did some shopping for our bandmates. We were eatting crêpes while taking a walk in the park.
"They're way better than pancakes!" Alex exclaimed with his mouth full of the delicious dessert.
"I agree with you!" I said while licking the confiture from my hands.
Alex decided to give me some help.
"You know what?" Alex got my finger out of his mouth. "Let's to home!"
"Why?!"
"You'll see! I gotta make a call now". Stay here!"
I sat on a bench and waited for Alex to finish his phone conversation.
***
"What is this?!" I asked while looking at the kitchen table full with ingredients. So that was the phone call for! "Really, Al? You cook?"
"We cook!"
"Oh, no! Why don't you just buy what you want?"
"Because if did that, I'd miss some great fun with you!"
"Ok, what do you want to make? Bread?" I asked taking into account the flour.
"Noooo... Crêpes, ma cherie!"
"Oh, Al... Then, let's start!"
I put an apron on and invited Alex to do the same.
"I don't wear that!" he refused.
"Well, you should!"
"No!" he said while looking insistently into my eyes.
"Ok then, gimme 200 grams of flour!" I requested while reading the recipe.
"Done!" Alex offered me a bowl. "God dammit!!!!" he shouted the next second.
He had just wiped his hands off on his blue jeans and black shirt.
"You did it yourself, dear!" I mocked him.
"Damn!... What do I do now?" he asked in a whiny voice.
"You put your apron on this moment!"
"What for? I'm already full!"
I started to laugh and Alex decided I was too careful with my clothes, so he blew into the bowl, making a considerable amount of flour to get into my hair, on my face and on my arms.
"What the...??!! Aaaaallleeeexx!!!" I shouted angrily.
The unavoidability happened. We started a food battle and we eventually had to stop any productive activity.
***
"Sorry!" he whispered while blowing the flour out of my hair. "I'm a dork. You just made the most delicious pancakes I've ever eaten and instead of rewarding you, I did this..."
"Oh, c'mon! It's ok! It was fun! And by the way, they're not pancakes!"
"Sorry, sorry..."
We crammed the crêpes into our mouths and tried to speak at the same time.
"Delicious!" Alex couldn't stop but admiring my cooking skills.
"I go take a shower! And wash my hair. Be right back!"
I placed a short kiss on Alex's sweet lips and left.

Any idea of what is going to happen in the next chapter(s)? Maybe a surprise for Marie?
Have a great day!!! ^.^
Btw, you should really listen to the Last Shadow Puppets and Alison Mosshart's version for "Paris summer" (search it on youtube). It's worth a listen, believe me!
