We decided to spend the night at the cave that evening just so we wouldn't make our appearance noticeable.

"So what does this mean for us?" Lacie said to me after eating and sitting with me on the edge of the cave.

"Lacie at this point we're just friends and that's all." I knew she wanted to hear a different answer than that, but I wasn't going to change my mind.

She looked me square in the eyes, "Michael I'll always love you and I know you feel the same for me, but I'll try to move on for both of our sakes." With that she hugged me real quick and went to find Amelia.

I sighed, finally relieved and heard Taran come up behind me. She sat down next to me and leaned her head on my shoulder.

"What are you thinking?" I asked holding her hand.

"That my life has changed so much, I don't know if I want to get a job anymore and all. I wouldn't be able to handle it. What if someone saw me for who I really am now?"

"Taran don't worry about that okay? No one is going to find out, and even if they did we would either leave or swear them into secrecy about us."

She nodded but I could tell something else was bothering her, and I wasn't sure how to approach whatever it was.

"Let's go flying for a little bit," I said as we slid out into the midnight air.

We flew in silence until we found a clearing not too far away from where the cave was. I landed with Taran right behind me and turned around, facing her. "Do you want to talk? I can tell there's something you want to ask me."

Taran took a deep breath, "give me a second so I know how to ask." She came up and put her hand on my shoulder.

"Michael, once we... you know, stop running fron your parents and Amelia and Lacie either stay with us or get in their own house, what do we do about... kids?"

I wasn't expecting that question and she could tell that I had been caught off guard.

"I shouldn't have asked," she walked away from me as I tried to gather my thoughts real quickly and think of a response.

"Taran," I followed her and turned her around gently.

I walked up to her until we were real close, "yes." I leaned down and kissed her as she wound her hands around my neck. I pulled her closer and wondered if this was how it would've been for Lacie and I? Pushing that matter out of my head, I concentrated on what was happening now.

"Are we like humans?" Taran asked a few hours later as I stared at her angelic face and played with her hair.

"Yea, it's not any different," I said catching onto what she meant.

"Good because I wasn't going to lay any eggs if that was the case," she kissed me.

I chuckled and went back to kissing her while our wings touched another. She shuddered and pulled back, "we need to head back before everyone thinks we were either kidnapped or who knows what."

I got up and changed real quickly along with Taran as we flew back and saw Amelia and Lacie asleep on a slab of blankets they had put together.

"Tomorrow we go look for a house," I whispered not wanting to wake them up.

Taran agreed and we went over to lay down with the girls. I couldn't sleep and thought about how much of a mess we were all in. Especially me... I felt bad bringing them all into this, but knew all three of them would be fine as long as we stuck together.

**Okay so this is the end of the story. I know it sucked, I couldn't bring myself to fix it while I typed... so don't worry about reading it! haha just wanted to publish all my books no matter how bad :P**
