I finally made it to Viridian City and instantly, Officer Jenny jumped me.

"What's going on?" I asked as she patted me down.

"It's nothing personal," She started. "There's been reports that four suspicious people are lurking around here so we're checking everyone that comes in,"

"Oh," I replied.

"Can I see your pokedex? That way I can identify you," She asked.

I took it out and she looked it over.

"Okay Mika, you're free to go."

Officer Jenny handed my pokedex back and I walked to the Pokemon Center so I can let them eat and rest.

I set my pokeballs on a tray and gave them to Nurse Joy, then walked to the vending machine to get a snack and a drink.

"Mika, your pokemon are all healed now," Nurse Joy smiled and handed the tray back. "We hope to see you again!"

She walked back over to the desk and I sent everyone out of their pokeballs. They all looked at me with confusion.

"Are you guys hungry?" I asked them.

The three of them nodded.

"Okay, wait here. I'll go grab some food for you three,"

I got up to buy lunch for my pokemon and came back to the table we were at with three bowls full of food.

They all stared at the bowls with hunger and immediately, Pidgey flew over to me. I nearly dropped the bowls and blocked Pidgey from getting the bowl.

"Hold on," I sweat drop. "I'll go bring it to the table,"

Pidgey followed me and I set the three bowls down. They all started eating as soon as I set them down.

I ate my food with them and once we were done, I sent everyone but Charmander back in their pokeballs so we could check out the gym.

Nurse Joy's Chansey came to clean up at the table and waved as we left the Pokemon Center.

I started walking to the gym, but then I saw an old man blocking the way to Pewter City with some girl around him. I thought something was wrong, so I decided to go check on him.

"Sir?" I asked, walking over.

"I absolutely forbid you from going through here!" He shouted at me.

"But sir-"

"This is private property!"

The girl looked embarrassed and sighed. "Grandpa, don't be so mean,"

She turned to me with an apologetic look. "I'm sorry. He hasn't had his coffee yet,"

"It's alright," I told her. "I was checking to see if he was okay since he was blocking the way. You guys should be careful though since there are suspicious people around,"

I walked to the gym after that and I saw Gary standing at the door.

"Gary?" I asked. "Why are you blocking the doors?"

He turned around. "Oh, it's Mika. What are you doing here?"

"The same reason you're here, I'm assuming," I replied.

I pushed him out of the way and tried to open the doors. It wouldn't budge and Gary didn't seem bothered by the fact that I pushed him.

"It's no use," Gary said. "It's locked,"

"Locked?" I asked and rose an eyebrow.

I jumped up and grabbed onto the edge of the window. I only saw a silhouette and as soon as they were about to turn around, I lost my grip and fell back on the ground.
