As I walked through Route 5, I found a Pokemon Daycare. I decided to stop by and check it out. The couple who owned it were nice. I told them I would be back if I had a pokemon to bring. It was probably about 10 pm right now.

I continued walking forward and found a gate, so I walked through it. I thought it would be easier to cut through Saffron City to get to Vermillion City.

"Gee, I'm thirsty," The gatekeeper thought outloud. He suddenly noticed me. "Oh, wait there. The road is closed,"

I was annoyed now. "What do you mean the road is closed? How am I supposed to get to Vermillion City if I can't cut through Saffron?!"

He laughed nervously, waving his hands in front of him. "I don't know what's going on, honestly! I was just told that this road is closed,"

I muttered curses under my breath since I was annoyed. "So, how am I supposed to get to Vermillion City then?" I ask.

"There's a tunnel outside that you can take that leads directly there. It's the only way between Cerulean and Vermillion until the road opens up." The gatekeeper replied.

I nodded and walked off to go find the tunnel, which conviently was just outisde.

I ran inside, staring at the floor the whole time because the colors were changing from red, to brown, to blue, and to brown again. It was entertaining.

I was snapped out of my daze when I smacked into a wall. "Ouch," I muttered rubbing my forehead. I turned to the left and saw stairs, so I started walking up the stairs. From then on, I had to battle a couple of trainers in Route 6 before I got to Vermillion City.

The coastal air was a lot stronger than it was in Cerulean, so it definitely reminded me of home. I haven't felt the coastal air since I've left Pallet Town, so I was enjoying it. It was extremely dark and foggy here though since it was late.

I checked into the Pokemon Center and Nurse Joy took my pokemon to heal them.

"You're out late," She remarked.

"Yeah," I replied. "I just got back from Cerulean City. I left the gym pretty late, so I decided to just continue forward and spend the night once I got here,"

"We have one room left, would you like to take it?" She asked.

"That would be great, thank you." I replied as she gave my pokemon back to me.

She handed me the key and Charmander followed closely behind me as we walked to the room.

The next morning, I decided to make a stop at the PokeMart to buy some potions, status healing items, and other stuff that I needed for myself.

Once I had left the PokeMart, I immediately heard screaming.

"OH MY GOD, IT'S HIM!"

"HE'S SO HOT!"

"HE'S MINE!"

"BACK OFF!"

I realized those were fangirls. I decided to go see what was going on and saw a bunch of women surrounding someone, or something while Officer Jenny was holding them off with her Growlithe. I decided to put Charmander back in his pokeball so he wouldn't get lost in that madness.

I walked closer, out of curiosity and saw that she was in front of the S.S. Anne's entrance.

She immediately stopped me. "Look, I understand that you girls these days are 'in love' with him, but you need to stop. He wanted a peaceful trip,"
