I got shoved into a dark room and felt someone tying my hands together. My heart thudded in my chest as I heard shuffling around in here.
"Heh, we finally got what we were looking for," I heard an unfamiliar voice speak.
"I know," Another voice added. "Now we can show the boss that we're way worthy than those weirdos with the talking Meowth and that other guy's name I can't remember,"
"Wasn't it Biff, or something?"
"Yeah, that's it,"
I looked down, trying to see if my other pokemon were still on me, and sighed with relief when I saw that I still had my other four pokemon on me.
I couldn't help but panic internally knowing Charmander was out there on the ship somewhere. God, I hope he didn't think I abandoned him or something. I just built trust up with him and now that may all have been for nothing.
What if I never even get him back?
The lights flickered on and I had to squint my eyes since I was blinded.
I saw four Team Rocket grunts, but they were dressed differently. "Who the hell are you?" I demand.
One was a very short woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. She had red streaks in her hair, wore a black dress with the letter R on the chest, had a grey belt around the waist, wore black thigh-high boots with it, and had black gloves on. Then, there was a man with amber eyes, jet black hair, and wore a long sleeve shirt with an R on the chest. He had black boots and gloves on and had a white streak in his hair.
There were also two other men who were with him who dressed similarly, but one had baby blue hair and the other had chestnut brown hair.
"Uh...is he supposed to look like a girl?" The woman asked, quirking an eyebrow.
"His voice is so feminine. Are you sure he's not...y'know,"
The man with the baby blue hair rolled his eyes. "You guys are stupid. She's obviously a girl,"
I couldn't help but wonder if they were the ones in Cerulean City's gym.
The man who had brown hair didn't speak at all and the woman crossed her arms. "Your idiot grunts grabbed the wrong person,"
"That was supposed to be your job to check and make sure he was on the ship first," He retorted.
A tick mark appeared on her head and the black-haired man looked at her. "And you didn't realize she's a girl?"
She scowled at him. "It was YOUR idiotic grunts who grabbed her! They should've realized the obvious difference, so it's not my fault, technically,"
I sweat drop at their bickering.
"So what happened then, Rin?" The blue-haired man asked her.
She crossed her arms and looked away. "I told the dumbasses at the front to watch for that ticket specifically and follow the person who has it,"
"So it was your fault," The black-haired man sighed at her. "You should've been specific about who we needed,"
"Uh...can I go now? Since I'm not the person you're looking for?" I ask.
Rin immediately got into my face. "No!"
She was now projecting her anger onto me. "You have to know him then!"
"Who?"
She pinched my arm, narrowing her eyes. "Don't play dumb, girl. I don't have time for this. So I need you to tell me where he is,"
