I had to battle a bunch of people on this bridge and then some guy at the end gave me a nugget. He then ended up being a Team Rocket member, who attempted to steal my pokemon, so I had to battle him too.
So far, I didn't see any traces of the grunt from earlier.
I turned around and saw Koffing on the bridge, acting suspiciously.
I then noticed that grunt from earlier trying to put something under the bridge. I sprinted over there. "Stop what you're doing! I know you're from Team Rocket, so if you don't stop, I'll stop you myself!"
The grunt turned around quickly, looking scared.
I studied his face and he seemed pretty young for a grunt. If I wasn't mistaken, he had to be about the same age as Nate.
"P-Please don't hurt me!" He pleaded, as Charmander walked in front of me.
He sounded different now. He took his hat off and long, chestnut brown hair fell from the hat. This "boy" was actually a girl and she had brown eyes too. I was baffled now.
"I'm sorry, trainer. I didn't want to actually do this. I was just forced by...him..."
I rose an eyebrow, wondering if this was just an act or if she truly was forced into whatever she was doing.
"What's your name?" I ask her.
"Sayuri," She replied.
She told me a little bit about herself. She was only 9 years old and lived with her father, who was apparently a Team Rocket member that forced her into doing his dirty work. She seemed genuine, so I decided to trust that she was telling me the truth.
She didn't tell me who her father was though. She probably was too scared to out him.
"What's your name?" She asked me.
"It's Mika,"
"Mika, can you please help me? I want to destroy this machine that I had to attach to the Cerulean Gym's generator,"
I looked at her with confusion and she sighed. "I didn't want to hurt anyone. Please help me dismantle it. It's under the bridge and I took it to the Cerulean Gym. It's a device used to control Pokemon. I'm willing to take punishment as long as it means I don't hurt anybody,"
She practically pleaded to me. I decided to help her.
I helped her unattach it from the generator and destroyed the device she was talking about and was now worried about her father potentially harming her. I didn't know what to do about it though.
"Thank you..." She said. "I'll go report to him that I was defeated by a trainer. Please return that generator to the gym."
She tucked her hair back into her hat and walked off. I did what she asked, so I returned the generator. I went back towards the bridge to train some more back there and battled some more trainers. I eventually found a house.
I was also looking for the gym leader since no one was in there before. I thought maybe the gym leader was in here, so I knocked.
"Come in!"
I walked inside, seeing a talking Cleffairy...
"You've got to help me!" It shouted at me, startling me.
I hesitated since I was very confused.
"Please, help," It said again. "I've accidentally turned myself into a pokemon and I can't change back unless I have someone help. I'm not joshing you, lady, I swear,"
It sounded like a man's voice.
"What do I do?" I ask, walking towards the machine in front of me.
