DR. PARK'S POV

The clinic was dimmed with the little light I had turned on. The other clinic was wrecked so I have no choice but to bring my patients here instead. But with the huge space, I'd say it's alright. At least I can move more.

Resting on my chair with the desk in front of me in the middle of the edge of the room, I tapped my stylus onto the pitch black screen of my tablet. I feel really frustrated and worried at the same time.

The white substance that came from Eight was.... foreign. Hours ago, the Medic Team and I tried to to study the liquid. It looked like silver metal that had been melted. I couldn't understand what it was. There was nothing like it.

And what happened to Eight? I've seen many things happen to our agents but never something like this. And I fear I couldn't remove the image of his face after his rampage.

His augs.... they were black! There was never an operative who had black augs. Ever. Not only how he looked, but the way he acted scared me. A non-combatant was able to give strong and precise hits on Four and Zero! Two of the best combatants of PHASe! It scares me to think what all this white liquid could do. And I didn't count on finding it out.

Sighing, I stood up, left my chair, and walked over to the side of Eight's bed. I have yet to know if his augs are back to normal. But his hair gave it away. His roots from the middle stayed black. Only the roots. The rest of his hair was still pink.

I hear a groan.

"Oh, Five. You're awake..." I made my voice low as not to awaken anyone else. "Umm... Good morning?" He looked around. I smiled at him. He looked tired although he didn't get in the fight earlier. The moment I looked back at him, he was staring deeply at his comrade.

"He's okay, right?" There was pain his voice. I felt saddened.

"He'll be alright, Five. I promise."

Five didn't say anything else after that. He only looked at his partner. He was younger and he looked up to him, after all. They're only a few months apart from age. But it looked like it was a year.

"Are you staying here? You should get a proper sleep." I approached him from the other side of the bed. "Pleased let me stay. Until he wakes up at least." Knowing I won't be able to disagree, I said to him, "Alright. But tell me if you need anything. And later, Dr. Sadik will give you a quick check up."

He looked up at me surprised. "Why do I need a check up?" I felt sorry for him already. "Operative Three told me you were quite traumatized with what happened. He suggested Dr. Sadik should see you. And I agreed." He nodded, understanding perhaps.

Walking to the monitor, I pressed a few buttons. So far, Eight only looked like he was sleeping. Like nothing happened at all. Not minding Five, I walked to the other bed where Zero was.

He didn't have any other injuries except for the huge purple mark on his abdomen. I checked his monitor. Everything seemed fine. So far. But then I remember he coughed up quite a lot of blood. I felt a shiver down my spine as the thought came to mind.

"How is he?"

I heard Five behind me as I turned to him. He stared at Zero's laying form. "He's okay. His abdomen is just... really bruised. Eight had a strong kick." This time Five is older than him. I would usually remember that Eight, Five, and Zero were considered the maknae line before Seven had joined a year ago.
