"Nuclear warheads!?"
"That's what I said."
"Stop sounding like you're proud of it!"

Four frowned at the young Wraith and pushed his fingers through his hair. He couldn't believe what he had just heard and simply stared at Seventeen across from him.

He didn't want to believe what she was telling him as a frown appeared on bis face. "For the last four years, that's all you've been doing?" He asked, unamused. "It was our only idea. And the only way we could get connections to collect information about KAIROS." Seventeen insisted, pouring herself another glass of wine. "Jae Eun. You stole nuclear power plant energy, created warheads, and illegally sold them across the globe." Four repeated, as if to only help the information sink into his head.

Seventeen sighed, she knew he would react this way, another reason she refused to tell him anything before.

Now engulfed in silence, Four ran his hand through his hair for the nth time and blankly stared at his sister with a frown. As though Seventeen didn't seem to want to say anything more about the current topic, Four decided to open another one. "What are those scars on your arms?" Seventeen's head snapped towards his direction in an instant, confusion written all over her face. She never mentioned the scars she had nor had she worn sleeveless clothing just so she could hide them from everyone. And yet here they were, her brother bluntly asking her of their existence.

Four waited, as much as possible, wanting to be patient; to let his sister know he was willing to listen. She shook her head as a heavy sigh escaped her lips. Leaning forward, she pulled her sleeve up her arm, revealing what looked like a burnt scar in the form of her veins. "I-.." Seventeen bit her lip, unsure of how to give her brother an explanation. "They came from the Augsoid. It burns my skin every time I refuse to follow it. It's almost like a sort of consequence when you disobey orders."

Four reached for her arm, tracing the vein-like scars with his fingers. "Each time Pri would want me to comply but I refuse, the Augsoid running through my veins create visible marks over the skin, it's as if my own adrenaline burned me." She added, much to Four's dismay.

"Why didn't you—no. Why won't you tell me?" Four stared at her, his brows furrowed and a bit of red flashed in his eyes. Seventeen shook her head and chugged down her glass, which was stolen from her hand the next second. "Stop drinking that shit and talk to me!"

"I want to tell you everything that's going on in my head but I don't know how! Okay!?" Four stared into his sister's red eyes, the black outlines created by the Augsoid, lining her face. Jae Eun turned around, afraid she may say something she would regret and sat back down on the couch after her outburst. "I don't know how..... All these things in my head.... This stupid Augsoid I.... I did it to myself okay? I know I could've avoided it but I can't go back to the past now, can I?"

Seventeen sighed, "I'm sorry... I couldn't control my emotions because of that fucking Augsoid.... The gang is mostly afraid of me just cuz my emotions tend to vent and blow up out of nowhere....." Four only nodded, quite speechless with her outburst. "Jae Eun it's fine... I know how it is to be emotionally.... unstable." Seventeen looked back him, wondering if he meant it or it was a simple trick to get her to calm the fuck down. But as she stared back him, his head laid back over the couch, a pillow in his lap with his hands clutched together over his stomach, it was that posture she knew all too well.
