AUTHOR'S POV

Nine had called Six and Three together in the dining room for a little talk. "What are we gonna do?" Nine mumbled. Three and Six stared at him. They never expected their leader to be the one asking them that question, ever.

"N-Nine.... We..." Three tried. But nothing came out of his mouth.

"Every day feels like weeks and everything has gotten worse the moment we stepped onto Nefarion... It's only been a few days but.... I don't know what to do anymore..... I'm sorry."

Three sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as Six bit his lip, anxious of what could possibly happen that was worst than their current situation.

"I think we should get One and Seventeen back... We already saw Mags. The others could be anywhere possible... Besides, I'm pretty sure KAIROS is residing within West Gate. Mags' dot hadn't appeared before and we already know that signals do get lost in the West... Which means that's their only option to hide in." Three tapped through his tablet, the little screen showing no signs of Mags' location after she entered West Gate.

"Should we contact Seventeen to come show up now? But... Four, he might..... We don't even know what's bothering him....Things might get worst." Six shook his head, sighing deeply.

The three remained silent. It was true that bringing One and Seventeen back would guarantee more help but they didn't want Four, Eight, and Five to feel hurt again. Introducing them to Zero and Seven would be a piece of cake but that's only because they never knew them before they became operatives.

"What do you think? Should we??" Three looked at Nine who was staring blankly at the table. "Nine?" Still no response. And Three usually hated it when he was talking and no one listened. So... "Namjoon." Slightly raising his voice, he caught the Architect's attention. Nine stared at him for a couple of seconds till he chuckled out, confusing Six and Three.

"I haven't heard that name since I was like... 19."

Six nodded, remembering how Nine got his codename quite early as he became the leader of an earlier team just before everyone else joined. At that time, Three too just became an analyst but his codename wasn't active just yet. He and Four were still trainees sharing a room back at the academy.

He smiled, 'oh memories~'.

"So now what? It's not like we can easily tell them about Seventeen to begin with.... We don't even know where she is!" Six stated. Three doesn't know, he doesn't know, Nine didn't know, no one knew... except one.

"I do."

The three turned their heads. The young Infinite was standing behind Six's chair. A small smile appeared on his face.

"I know where she is." He looked down, he knew he was breaking his promise. But now that he knows these three knew about Seventeen, he thought it was safe to talk about her with them.

"How do you know about her?" Nine eyed him, skeptical.

Zero bit his lip nervously, "I-... She was the one who helped me... when I got lost...." he finally admitted. Six stood up and pulled Zero to sit down with them so Seven, or Eight and Five on the screen, wouldn't hear anything or be too suspicious.

"You're saying she helped you when you got beat up?" Six asked. Zero only nodded, looking down.

"Then... She's in West Gate?" Nine looked hopeful. If they could find her, then they can find One.
