EIGHT'S POV

It was dark.

So dark.

...

...

...

"Yah! Do you really think you can escape!?"

My eyes narrowed. I suddenly heard a voice. A female's voice to be exact. But... whose is it?

"W-what??" My own voice echoed throughout this dark void I'm in. Looking around, I was alone. So where-?

     "What do you mean 'what'!? You've inhaled the deadly scent of my new weapon, Operative Eight. And though it's unfinished, that Augsoid will allow me control over you!"

I stepped back as a silhouette of a female approached me.

"What do you mean!? So it was the Augsoid!?!"

My voice was shaking. "Huh- agh!"

     I fell to my knees. My hands held my head. My eyes were closed shut. Some sort of pain invaded my head; it felt like I was electrified through my brain! Why was this happening!?

     An outstretched hand suddenly appeared in front of me. It was the female's silhouette in front of me. I had no idea who she was since her face wasn't showed. I barely had the strength to resist the pain and look up at 'her'. Until she said...

"Let me help you."

What the hell!?

"Wh-what??? Why would... you help m-me?"

     She took back her hand and knelt down at my level on the groundless void. "I can help remove the pain, you know. All you have to do is let me."

I have no idea where I am.

I have no idea what's going on.

And I have no freaking idea who the hell this woman is!!!

     I just knelt there with my head in my hands. Just when I started to feel numb, I felt a pair of hands hold my own. I tried to look up And saw the woman came closer to me. A weird pattern of lines suddenly formed on the silhouette of her face.

'Augs!? It can't be though. Unless-'

     The pain suddenly left. I felt my body relax in an instant. But I also felt that the woman's hands hadn't left mine. I slowly looked up and to my surprise-

I saw a beautiful face in front of me.

But..... who is she??

"How did you-" She cut me off.

"I told you. I can help you remove the pain."

     I shook my head and stood up only to stumble away from her. "But just now you were saying you were gonna control me and stuff!" Is she crazy or something? "I did. But you see, all you have to do is cooperate and you won't be in pain. I wouldn't have to completely control you. Get my point?"

I ran my hands through my hair and turned away from her.

"What the fuck is she planning??"

     I whispered to myself. Wait..... where was I.... before this?? My eyes tightly shut themselves as a memory came back to me.
