AUTHOR'S POV

The sky was turning darker every second and the streets have been lit with the lampposts. The cool wind made West Gate's civilians wear anything that could warm them up.

Meanwhile....

Inside Seventeen's bedroom, was Zero, still sound asleep. A thick, white blanket covered half his body from the cold and had bandages around his upper arms and his torso; concluding, he was shirtless at the moment. His chest rose and fell as his steady breathing showed his only motion. And thanks to Five's new hairstyle on him, his forehead shown as his hair was parted and disoriented. His lips were parted with his lip piercing shining lightly in the dimmed room. His eye twitched. And a cough escaped his throat.

His doe eyes adjusted from the dark room as he squinted and his hand automatically went up to rub his eyes. But he abruptly stopped, feeling his whole right arm hurt. "Ugh... wha-....." his eyes wandered around the said room but his head ached the moment he tried turning his head. His hands grabbed his head as he groaned with the headache.

"Damn...." he mumbled and hissed as he massaged his temples.

"You okay?"

At hearing the voice, Zero turned his head to the bedroom door with eagerness to see whoever just spoke to him.

"Who- agh....!", his left eye shut as the pain, not only grew from his head, but spread through his bruised body.

"Don't move."

Zero moved to sit up but the person came next to him the next second. It was Seventeen, the tomboy who came to the young Infinite's rescue.
