Ch. 10
Allison's POV
I was in shock. You know how it feels when people stomp on your heart because you feel broken down, but not only that. But also stomping on your body. That's how I felt right now. Everything hurt me, now all my emotions were just gone. Well, not all. Sadness was taking over my entire body.
"Tracy! Dylan!"
The scene that I was seeing was that Dylan and Tracy were kissing.
"A-Allison!"
I burst into tears and ran away.
"Allison! Wait! Please!" Tracy yelled.
I didn't listen to her. I didn't wait and I didn't want to listen. She managed to catch up and grabbed my arm. I tried to loosed my grip her grip, but she hardened it.
"Please Allison, please hear me."
"Why should I!"
"Because I'm your best friend."
"Really! You think that my best friend would be kissing my boyfriend! That is not a best friend!"
"I'm sorry. It just happened. Dylan and I were talking and then we kissed."
"And you returned it! No wonder you weren't there at lunch or nutrition. You were with Dylan!"
"Look Allison, I've always liked Dylan. Every girl has, but I hide my feelings because he was into you. I never got the chance to be asked out by a guy, but you... You've been asked out who knows how many times, but you reject them because you were only thinking about Max. You didn't even value them, you didn't go at least on one date with them to get to know them! And anyway, you and Dylan didn't spend any time together. Your relationship with him, already had problems!"
"That doesn't mean you can kiss my boyfriend!" And I ran away. I ran to my locker and got my stuff. I went to the entrance of the school, and ran out. School would finish in an hour.
I walked down the streets just crying to myself. I never thought that my own best friend would do that to me. I walked up to my house and almost opened it when I remembered that I couldn't go in. My mom would yell at me and asking me all these questions.
I got off the porch and walked down the street. I ended up on the front porch of Max's house. I sat on the chair that was on the porch and tried to find my phone. What happened to it. I didn't want to think about the whole Dylan and Tracy thing, so I focused on my phone.
What happened to it. Then I started to remember the note that was left in my locker. Who would want to threaten me, I didn't make people hate me that much.
"Allison?"
I looked up and saw that Max was standing in front of me.
"Hey Max, I thought you needed some company." I said disappointed.
"What's wrong."
"I just need a friend." I got up and hugged him. I started to tear up and he led me to his living room. I sat on the couch and he brought me some hot chocolate. I brought the cup to my lips and smelled the delicious scent. It made my whole body warm up and feel right at home.
Max came to sit next to me and hugged me. I put my head on his shoulder and kept drinking some of the hot chocolate.
"So, are you gonna tell me what's wrong."
"I don't w-want to talk a-about."
"Okay."
I liked how Max wasn't one of those people who kept on pleading so you could tell them what's wrong.
I didn't know what time it was, but at some point; I fell asleep. I felt that someone was nudging me to wake up, but I was to tired to even open my eyes.
****
The next morning, I woke up so tired. My back was hurting, that's for sleeping on a couch.... Wait what?!
I looked at my surrounding, and it looked nothing like my house. I started to panic, why was I sleeping at Max's house.
I sat up and looked that Max was sleeping next to me. I ran my hand through my tangled hair and got up. I went to the bathroom and fixed myself up. I'm sure he wouldn't mind that I took a shower here, right?
I quickly took one and wrapped a towel around me. I liked at myself and noticed that I didn't have any clothes to wear except my dirty clothes from yesterday. I was trying to remember where I left my backpack, I had to have something.
I opened the door and crept out and went up the stairs. I looked for Max's room, which wasn't hard. It had his name on it.
I went in and liked for some boxers, the smallest ones and a shirt. I looked in the mirror, and it wasn't that bad. It was a working progress.
I liked at the time and it was 7:30. Good thing it was Saturday, so no school!
I went downstairs and saw that Max was up.
"Morning."
"Morning." He said. "so, you decided to wear my clothes. You must really know a lot about fashion."
"It's a working progress."
Hope you liked it. This was an unexpected twist so yeah.
Question: Do you think that Allison is gonna fix things with Tracy?
