Ch. 2

Allison's POV

"Max?!"

I couldn't believe my eyes. I thought that they were playing tricks on me, but they weren't.

"W-what are you doing here?!"

"Well I think I have a right to come here. It is a free country."

"You know what I mean!"

"Okay. I told my mom when it was senior year, I would come back here to Alabama and finish school here. She wasn't okay with it, but I finally managed to convince her."

"Why did you have to come back!"

"Because I wanted to."

Why, why, why!! He just made things a whole lot harder! I was having a happy life until he came!!

"Max, you should have never came back."

"Why not?"

"Because, we aren't together anymore and you also didn't have the right to kiss me."

"Why not. Its not like you have a boyfriend or something."

"I do actually, and his name is Dylan. Now, if you'll excuse me. I'm leaving."

"Allison...."

I didn't even let him finish. I left and for a minute I thought I was gonna faint. I just found out that my ex-boyfriend came back and he wanted to get back together. Uh, I don't think so.

Tracy and Dylan were still at the lockers talking just where I left them.

"Hey Allison? You look kinda pale." Well of course I would. My ex just came back!

"Um.. Tracy I need to talk to you alone. Dylan would you."

"Oh, of course. You need your time. I'll see you in 1st period."

"Thanks, see you there." He soon left and I dragged Tracy away.

"Woah girl, calm down." How could I calm down. My damn ex just came back!!!

"Ma... Ma....." Why couldn't I speak. My words just kept choking up in my mouth. I felt that my throat was dry as sand.

"Chill girl. Now take a deep breath and spill." I took a deep breath and spilled.

"Max." Okay. I wasn't planning that only one word would come out, but it was a start.

"Max?! He didn't come back, right?!"

"H-he did. He was the one who called me to meet him in the P.E field. He came back! He k-kissed me!!"

"Woah. This is tuff." Well of course it's tuff. He came back!!!

"Tracy, you know how hard it was to get over him. I don't want to see him. It's like I see him as the pain I felt when he left."

"Look, we need to make sure that you don't bump into him at school or anywhere else." That was a plan. A plan that could succeed or fail. I need to bring my hopes up.

Just before things could possibly get worse, someone tapped me and I blacked out.

Tracy's POV

This was gonna be hard for Allison. It was pretty hard for her to get over Max. I mean, she even called me so many times, that she was the only one that I talked to the most in summer vacation.

Then, I saw him. He was coming towards us, I wanted to get Allison away, but I was in shock myself. Obviously I believed Allison, but I was in shock.
