Ch. 13

Allison's POV

"I think I know who left that note." Tracy said.

"Who?"

"Gina." I was surprised to hear Tracy say that Gina left me that note.

"Why.... Why would you think that?"

"Remember when Alexandra left you all those threats."

"Yeah."

"Well, she liked Max too, and Gina told you that she liked Max."

"But.."

"But nothing, there's a reason she left you that note."

"But we have to make sure."

"Okay." She said disappointedly. If Gina was behind this, she was gonna pay. Woah, where did I get that sudden fury in me.

****

When we got to school, I was determined to find Gina. I needed to find out if she had anything to do with this.

"Hey, have you seen Dylan?" Tracy asked me.

"No." I said while looking to my sides. "I thought that you talked to him already."

"No."

We couldn't find her so we just went to homeroom. Tracy kept looking for Dylan, which strangely wasn't no where to be seen.

It was all going calmly when the fire alarm started to ring. Everyone started to panic, I just thought that it was a practice. Hopefully.

"Okay, everyone please make a single file line." Our homeroom teacher said.

I was getting up when we started to see the smoke rise up from the room next door to us. Everyone started to get out of the class when we saw the fire.

Everyone including the teacher were screaming like crazy. I could feel the heat coming towards my body. Tracy was in front of me, she got out the door but a bookshelf that we had next to the door fell and got in my way.

I liked for Tracy outside, but she wasn't there. She must've thought that I was already out.

"Help!"

I saw behind me and everything was in flames. I then saw Gina, please help me.

"Gina.. Please! He... Help me!"

She tried to get through, buy that stupid bookshelf was in the way.

"I'm sorry!" And she took off.

"G-Gina! Please. H-Help!" I started to cough and everything in front of me was getting blurry.

"H-Help!" My voice started to get weaker and weaker by the minute.

I went back but everything surrounding me was in flames. I looked at the door, and I knew there was no where out.

"Help....."

Max's POV

Everyone was out of the building while the paramedics were checking on some of the students. I was desperately looking for Allison, I saw Tracy and ran to her.

"Where's Allison?!"

"What do you mean where's Allison, she's right behind me...." She liked behind her and her eyes grew wide open.

"She's inside." She looked at the flaming building in front of us and started running towards it.

"Tracy!" I caught her before she entered.

"She's my best friend! I have to save her!"

She was struggling with my grip on her. I saw Gina come out of the building.

"Gina!"

"Allison's in there. I tried to save her, but it was impossible."

I let go of Tracy and ran in. I didn't know what my plan was, all I could think of was Allison.

"Max!"

They shouted my name but I didn't look back. I just kept running trying to dodge the flames that were everywhere.

I went to Allison's homeroom and looked inside. I could barely see because some bookshelf was in the way.

"Allison!" I screamed out. I got no response and the fire wasn't getting any better.

I looked inside to get a better view and saw her lying on the ground.

"Allison!"

I jumped over the bookshelf and went by her side. I picked her up, but I had no idea how to get out of here. I couldn't jump over while holding Allison.

I liked behind me and saw the window. That was my only hope. I ran there and got a book and smashed it into the window. I took hold of Allison like I was cradling a baby and extended my leg. I then extended my other leg and was finally out. The room exploded and we were inches away.

I got down to protect he body from the pieces of the building that were falling. I ran and went to the front of the school with everyone waiting. I saw Allison's parents and they hurried over to me and her dad took hold of her. He ran to one of the ambulance cars and they started working on her.

Tracy and I ran to her side, they put an oxygen mask on her so she could wake up. Her face had patches of black from the smoke inside. They took me in too but I said I was alright. I just needed to know if Allison was alright.

Everyone was huddled over Allison, worrying that she could wake up. I was included with Tracy, Gina, her mom, and dad.

She started to cough and finally opened her eyes.

"My baby!" Her mom cried out.

She hugged her while her dad joined in. A smile was plastered on my face, she finally opened her eyes.

She looked confused but then looked at here right arm. It was burned, up to her shoulder and elbow. Damnit.

Allison's POV

I coughed and opened my eyes. Everyone was huddled next to me.

"My baby!" My mom said while hugging me with my dad.

I felt confused, but then I felt a stinging feeling. I liked at my right arm and saw in horror. It was burned up to my shoulder and elbow.

I tried to cover it but my parents told me that I would be fine. But I looked at it in disgust. I saw Max and he was smiling, but I looked away.

Now another problem in my life.

Hope u like it.

So, technically after I finish this book, I'm going to publish a new one, but not right away. I'm gonna take some time because I'm writing another book which u should check so yeah.

Question: What will happen next?

I know, lame question but I'm working on it. This chapter took me a long time to think about and I had to rewrite then erase but it all worked out.

Bonus question: Will Gina ever be discovered?
