Ch. 25

Allison's POV

So I wasn't going to prison, that was good. Right?

Apparently I was going to juvenile. How nice, notice sarcasm. I entered my nightmare. Bunks were lined up, girls of all ages were either siting on their beds or standing and giving me glares.

They told me that the last bunk, in the last row was the one I was sleeping in. I put my stuff down. the guards leaving me. I felt unsafe, the girls came near me, I scorned over to the corner and started laughing. They eventually left and I felt calm, but still tense.

"Don't feel scared, those girls think they're the boss around here," a girl said. She had red hair, green eyes with freckles that covered her face.

"Oh..."

"I'm Shirley." She extended her hand to mine, and I shook it.

"Allison," I said quietly.

"Well Allison, I hope I didn't scare you." How couldn't you?

"So, what did you do to get in here?" she asked. How could I say something that want true. I felt guilty myself, for being here and not with the people I love.

"For killing a lady, but I didn't," I said quickly.

"Yeah right." I rolled my eyes at her and she chuckled.

"I'm in here because some guy tried to rape me but I killed him." Flinching at those words, I scooted over more to the corner.

****

It was lunch time, meaning it was hell time. The food here was disgusting, so it was like school. Not the best food you could find, but at least they provided you with something.

I sat at a lunch table with Shirley. I saw many girls trip others, making them fall face frost into their food. I felt bad for them, but lucky that I wasn't those girls.

Later on, it was time to go to sleep. Unfortunately for me, the big buff girls came up to me and pulled my hair, uncovered the blankets from the bed to make me cold. But I had enough!

I stood up, grabbed the taller girl's hair and pushed her to the bed. She got mad at me, true to get me but the guards came in and broke us up. Apparently her name was Sunshine, I found it weird. There was no sunshine in her, at all!

"Sorry about that," Shirley said. She sat next to me, I curled up in a ball.

"Whatever."

"You know, we learn a lot here."

"Like what?"

"Like finding a way to escape."

Sorry this chapter is short, and sorry it's late. I had a long, busy day and very tiring.

Question: Do you think Allison will escape that prison?

Bonus question: How will she?
