Ch. 27

Allison's POV

I was trapped in a tank. A tank that was going to be filled with water in a matter of minutes if someone didn't rescue me right now!

And guess who was all behind this.

My stupid, bastard, biological father. He managed to escape prison. But he only survive with one leg. The other, thrown away because of my shot.

He was stuck in a wheelchair, apparently he didn't have any money to pay at least for a prosthetic leg.

My hands and feet were tie up in a chain that was stuck down to the tank. I saw the timer on the clock, still not started.

'I already called your boyfriend, lets see how long it takes him to come and save you," he sneered.

He pushed the button to start the timer. Water started to come in.

Max's POV

"I have to go!"

"Then I'm coming with you," Dylan said.

"No, this is my fight."

"Mine too."

He pushed past me and entered the car. I rolled my eyes at him, knowing that we didn't have much time.

We drove by trees, bushes the covered the ground.

"We should be here by now," Dylan said.

"I know."

We ten felt a push in the back. I looked back, seeing a black van behind us.

"Go faster." Without any questions, Dylan accelerated the car. The can went faster than us, going to our side and a man came out the window pointing a gun at my head.

"Stop the engine!" he yelled.

Dylan looked at me, I nodded my head. He stopped the car, making us get out and getting into the black van. There we saw Allison's father, in a sitting position. And what I noticed, he had no leg.

"If you want to save her. Only one of you can live to do that," he said with a snarl. I scowled at him, he was making us choose.

"Here are your guns, shoot and whoever wins. Can save Allison."

We both got the guns, walked to opposite ends of a corridor. And stared at the wall.

How could I do this? How could I kill someone who didn't deserve it?

"3, 2..." Please don't say 1.

"1!"

I quickly turned around, just like Dylan and I pulled the trigger to my gun. The impact of the bullet sent Dylan flying backwards. Making boxes collide on him.

Allison's dad laughed in victory. I reluctantly walked passed him. Running down a corridor.

Of only they knew the truth.

****

"Allison!" I yelled.

I saw we in a tank. Water at her neck. She was trying to push stand up, but she was chained.

Losing no time, I quickly smashed the chain. The water was already up to her face. I saw that she couldn't breath any more, her yes open in the water.

I climbed onto the glass, grabbing Allison's shoulders and bringing her up. I put he down on the floor, she wasn't breathing.

I ave her mouth to mouth. But still no reaction.

"Please wake up, please,' I said weakly.

Sorry it's short again. Need to make it longer. But comment and what you think.

Question: Do you think Allison will ever wake up again?

Bonus question: What was that truth that Max mentioned?
