Female Warrior [COMPLETED]

Chapter 3

Ava: I'm sitting in the back of one of my dull and irritating classes, teaching us how to submit to men and learning the basics of what women should and shouldn't do. For example, women must do all the hassle of daily at home chores and must obey whatever a man says. No matter if they're our husband or not. One of the biggest things that they try to embed in our minds, is that you can't be gay. Which is a little problem for me because I like both guys and girls, and I haven't told anybody about it. Not even Lucas for some reason, he would understand the most. I sigh and look up from my paper that I doodled on and see that some of the girls are really taking notes on this shit. It's sad to see them brainwashed and sucked into the program of wanting to do this. I wonder why it didn't work on me though? What the guys do seem more fun, like who doesn't want to learn how to fight and hunt animals? It seems like something bad-ass to do! Luckily when I get out of here I'll know some of it; thanks to Lucas for teaching me some of it and him giving me some of his notes from class. Now that I think about it...I wonder if there are any other guys around here in the closet too. My phone buzzes and I slowly pull it out and see it's from Lucas. Speaking of gays. I read what he sent about having the keys and having to go the clinic. I'm about to reply back about why he needs to go to the clinic until the teacher catches me on my phone and prevents me from doing so. 

Teacher: I clear my throat "I'm sorry, Ms. Singh, am I boring you?

Ava: Actually yeah you are, but I couldn't say that instead, I said, "No, I just kind of already know this. I've been learning this my whole life. It's just really repetitive."

Teacher: "I'm sorry, are you sassing me?"

Ava: Bitch what? I literally didn't sass in any way.

Teacher: "Don't make me send you to the Warden! He'll fix you right up."

Ava: The Warden was the guy in charge of this Penitentiary. Every sector around the states has one for their Penitentiary. However, our Warden, Warden Cooper took his job a little seriously. If you disobeyed or broke any of the rules; you would be killed, no questions asked. I know seems pretty harsh and unnecessary, but this isn't one of your happily ever after type books. "No ma'am that won't be necessary. I apologize."

Teacher: "That's what I thought...now phone away and eyes up front."

Ava: I just go along of course and put my phone away, look up front and pretend to listen.

*35 minutes later*

Ava: Class is finally over and I've never been happier in my life. I grab my stuff and immediately run out of the classroom. Once I'm out I get my phone out and read over Lucas's message again. I reply with, "If you're feeling better meet me at your room and tell me everything, sis." I send the message and start to head to his room, as I'm walking I get some stares from the guys and I start to hear them mumbling. One guy whistles at me as I walk by them. I try to block them out and just try to focus on getting to the room. I finally get up to Lucas' door and I pull out the spare key that he gave me, until I hear one of the guys say, "Uh oh, we all know what's going to happen in there." Then he starts to clap his hands and begins to make light moaning noises and the rest of the guys chuckle a little together. I stop what I'm doing and I take a deep breath, trying to prevent myself from popping off. I open the door, walk in and close the door behind me. I fall down onto one of the big bean bag chairs and look up at the ceiling. "That's it I can't take it. I'm leaving...I'm leaving tonight." I say to myself.
