Female Warrior [COMPLETED]

Chapter 25

Lucas: Out of the blue I hear a big gun go off and hear bullets shooting everywhere from down below. "Don't draw attention to yourself..." I keep heading up the steps until one of the guys grabs my arm and turns me around, to yell at me to help. But once he notices that he doesn't recognize me I know that it's time to fight. "Fuck it..." I grab my ax firmly and hit him right on top of his head. I then pull it out and swing the ax to my left and hit another guy in the stomach. Some of the guys start to notice I'm killing their men and they start to charge at me.

Luna: Meanwhile, I'm ducking for cover from the few people that I missed when I was shooting. "I thought there would've been more people here or something," I say as I hear gunshots coming from the steps. "Hm, someone else is here too. Well, I can't let them beat me to it." I run from cover to cover doing somersaults and backflips trying to dodge the bullets while still maintaining to shoot my arrows. I get behind a wall pillar and see two guys to my left and right behind the pillar. I take a deep breath and quickly shoot two arrows to the left and right and hit all four of them in between their eyes. I watch as their bodies hit the ground. "And that is how you do it. Not even a scratch," I brag. Before I go to the steps I run over and get back as much as my arrows as I can see, then I proceed with heading to the steps, sprinting up them and see bodies and blood everywhere. "Someone is here..."

Lucas: I've gotten farther up the steps, almost to the top floor but I hear footsteps from down below coming towards me. "One more..." I look down and see the girl and decide to hide and once she gets close enough, I jump out and try to swing at her, aiming for her neck.

Luna: I gasp and jump from the sudden surprise of the ax-wielding boy. I duck swiftly and he hits the wall with his ax. I take the opportunity to punch him in the side of the stomach repeatedly and grab my bow.

Lucas: I wince from the punching, I see her grabbing her bow so I kick her down the steps a little. I get my ax back from out of the wall and jump down the steps aiming for her.

Luna: I roll over and he misses me just by a hair. I punch him in the face, I then grab one of my arrows and stab him with it in the foot. He tries not to scream out in pain but I watch as he yanks it like it's nothing.

Lucas: I get my ax from out of the ground and right when I'm about to hit her we both hear a door open and the sound of the rest of the men coming down to deal with us. "Great..." I say coughing and trying to catch my breath.

Luna: I get up once I hear the guys and I look over at the boy and see that he's sick too. I leave the kid and start to run up the steps to fight the men and I see that he follows behind me. Out of nowhere, we both start to work together to kill the guys, even though a few minutes ago we were trying to kill each other.

Lucas: I chop a head off and stop for a second to cough once again. One of the guys gets up from the floor behind me and aims his gun at me.

Luna: I see the guy on the ground and quickly shoot him with my arrow before he can shoot the boy. "You're welcome. You owe me."

Lucas: I grasp onto my ax tightly and throw it at a guy behind her and hit him in the chest. "Not anymore." I see her smirk a little before she turns around and runs off up the steps. Once I've calmed myself down and I can breathe again I start to head up the steps after retrieving my ax. I see her open the door and enter the top and seconds later I 'm right behind her. Before I can even say anything to her I fall to the ground, feeling too overwhelmed and weak. I start coughing aggressively again just like Ava was.

Luna: I watch him fall, run off and leave him. I search room after room on the floor trying to find the medicine. After a while, I find them and surprisingly no one is protecting it, probably because that boy and I killed almost everyone in this building or they're hiding. I grab two cases that contain 16 syringes in them which should be more than enough. As I'm walking out of the room I come across the boiler room. I enter it and twist some dials and push some buttons trying to mess with it. Instantly it starts to make a lot of noise meaning it's about to explode. "There we go." I walk out and head to the steps and as I do I see the kid still laying there about to breathe his last breath. I sigh and start to feel sad for him and crouch down and hand him one of the cases. "Here. I don't know who you are, but you're a good fighter. I got a feeling you're not like the other guys around here." I sigh and stand back up. "Hope to see you again sometime." I open the door about to head down the steps until I stop in my tracks. "Oh yeah, and by the way, this building is going to explode in a couple of minutes. So I suggest you hurry...see ya around, kid." I say before running off and heading back to Philly to help cure Ava.
