Lucas: It's a few minutes after Ava and I had our breakfast, she heads to one of her classes while I try to find out where Atlas is. "Alright if I was a strong, cocky, and hot douche-bag. . . where would I be?" I say to myself then stop in my tracks. "The training room. Of course!" I run over to the other side of the Penitentiary and start to hear screaming and cheering. I approach the room and I see it's filled up with almost all the guys crowding around two people fighting. I take a deep breath. "You're doing this for Ava, you're doing this for Ava." I walk in and start to shove some of the guys aside trying to get through to the front. After a few shoves, I get to the front and I see Atlas uppercut some kid, the kid falls to the ground, knocked out. The guys start to cheer loudly for Atlas's win. "Oh shit...so this is what straight culture is..." I walk into the middle of the circle and everyone starts to look at me confused even Atlas. I clear my throat. "Atlas. . . I n-need the keys for the Weaponry Room."
Atlas: I chuckle and look down at you. "Who are you?" The guys start to laugh from that unfunny comment.
Lucas: "I'm Lucas. Lucas Johnson. . . we've known each other literally our whole lives." I look at him and he gives me an even more confused look than the first one. "Anyways, I need the keys. . . now." I say trying to sound all hard.
Atlas: "Why do you need them?"
Lucas: "Because. . . I need to make sure that nothing is missing. I care about this place and I. . . uh wouldn't want anything to be missing." I chuckle and give a warm smile. I look at the other guys to see if they're buying it.
Atlas: "Yeah alright fine I'll give them to you." I shrug.
Lucas: Well that was easier than expected.
Atlas: "But-...!"
Lucas: Aw shit.
Atlas: "You have to fight me for it. You win, I'll give you the keys. I win, you get nothing. Sound like a deal?" All the guys scream, "Yeah!" in unison only wanting to see another fight.
Lucas: I sigh "Sure. So like. . .do I get to stretch first or are we just going to jump int-..." Atlas out of nowhere throws the first punch and I surprisingly dodge it. He throws a left hook and punches me in the nose straight on. I stumble back a bit, but regain my balance. He comes up close and throws another punch and I quickly dodge it then kick him in the stomach as hard as I can. However with his abs as protection, it's a little hard. Atlas falls back and has a smirk on his face that I managed to knock him down. He spins around on the floor and leg sweeps me and I fall down on my back. He stands back up, over towers me and tries to ax stomps me, but I roll out of the way just in time, so he misses. The guys start to cheer and scream again, surprised that I'm lasting this long.
Atlas: "You do know that I'm going easy on you, right?" I laugh.
Lucas: I try to catch my breath as I'm already tired. "Well, I don't plan on leaving until I have those keys. So, I suggest we hurry this thing up."
Atlas: "Alright then..." I tackle Lucas, lifting him up a little and slamming him against the cold, hard brick wall. I see him wince in pain. I then flip him over my shoulder and he falls on his back, landing on the mat. I get on top of Lucas and start to punch his face in repeatedly and don't stop until he taps out or until I knockout him out.
Lucas: As Atlas punches me in the face repeatedly I can start to feel the bruises come onto my face. All of sudden Atlas does one strong punch and hits my nose and breaks it and blood starts to come out. I scream out in pain and start to feel the adrenaline running through my body. I then clench my fist and throat punch Atlas. He immediately gets off me coughing, gasping for air. I sigh with relief that the punching has stopped. All the guys go quiet hoping that Atlas is okay.
Atlas: Once I've caught my breath I look over at Lucas. "I'm surprised you could last this long against me. But, you know I won, right?"
Lucas: "Yeah, yeah I lose." I get up slowly from the ground and feel disappointed that I couldn't get the keys for Ava.
Atlas: "However, since you lasted longer against the Atlas then anyone else. I'll give you the keys. You never gave up. Good job, man." I walk over to my bag to go get them.
Lucas: Holy shit is he serious?
Atlas: I get the keys and toss them over to Lucas. "There you go."
Lucas: I catch them and look down at them in my hand then look at Atlas. "Yeah. . .thanks I guess." I speed walk my way out of the room shoving and pushing guys again. Once I'm out I get out my phone and text Ava that I got them, but that I'm heading to the clinic first. "That was probably the worst experience of my life. . .but it was worth it." I say to myself before heading down to the clinic.
