Luna: With leaving the building and having it explode I make it back to Philly and sprint to the house I left Ava at. Even though I'm tired as hell and can't feel my legs, I keep running because I can't let Ava die. With everything we've been through I can let her go. I make it back to the house, run up the steps and run into the room I left Ava. I get into the room and see Ava laying there with her eyes closed and not moving. "Oh no..." I open up the case and drop all the syringes from being so nervous that she's gone. I grab 3 syringes and injected them into Ava one by one. "Come on, come on!" I get closer to Ava and lift up her head. "Please don't be dead...I need you...we were going to change the world... Ava...please..." I say as I start to cry.
Ava: I gasp and take a deep breath of air. "I feel way much better now..." I sigh and try to breathe normally. I look up and see Luna crying. "Why are you crying?"
Luna: I sigh with relief as she starts talking and breathing again. "I thought you were dead," I said while wiping my tears.
Ava: "No, no I was only sleeping. I'm fine now, thanks to you." I grin.
Luna: I laugh hearing that she was only sleeping and realizing that I was probably overreacting at first. "Good, but we should get back out there. We have a mission to accomplish. Right?"
Ava: "Right." We both get off the bed and get ourselves together, we gather all our things and head downstairs.
Luna: "Wait..." I run over and open a door to a garage and see a car. "Come on there's a car." I smile with joy since I was tired of walking. I grab the keys from off the wall and head to the driver seat and Ava goes for the passenger side. We both get in and I start her up. "Surprised there's still gas in here. There should be enough to get us to New York." I pull off and we ride down the road.
*2 hours later*
Luna: We pass the Welcome to New York sign and how big and beautiful all of New York is.
Ava: "Everything looks so clean...it's weird. There are even other people driving."
Luna: "Yeah it is...we'll need to stop somewhere and try to blend in. We both look like dirty hunters. Plus we can't draw attention to ourselves. Some of the authorities and people here will find it weird if we don't have a man by our side."
Ava: I nod my head in agreement.
Luna: I drive at the speed limit and pull up to a boutique with a salon inside. They should be able to help. I park the car and Ava and I take off all of our weapons and try to hide them under the seat.
Ava: I pull out my two throwing knives and give one to Luna. "Just in case."
Luna: I grab it from her. "Just in case." We exit the car and enter the boutique and right away they help us because we look homeless. Within a few hours, they change us into the two pictures at the top of this chapter. We walk out without having to pay because they felt so bad for us.
Ava: "Don't you think this is a little much?"
Luna: "Very. But it helps us blend with every one us. They dress fancy, so we have to too." We get back in the car.
Ava: "So what do we do now?"
Luna: "Well...we gotta find the tower and try to find a way in to observe everything to make sure we don't get ourselves killed for when it's time to execute our plan. Sound good to you?"
Ava: "Fine by me," the last thing I say before Luna starts up the car and takes off driving again.
