Author's Note:
Hey my little pooky daffodils!! It's time for another chapter!! I think that you'll enjoy this one. ;)

Why did I have to have detention with Jake? It's like he's stalking me or something, not that I'm complaining though.

I walk in awkwardly and try to shuffle across the room to my seat without being noticed by him. He spots me out of the corner of his eye and a dimpled smirk creeps onto his beautiful face.

"Why hello there..."He pauses for effect, "Chunky Monkey." He can barely contain his laughter when he sees the horrified look on my face. This was terrible. He knew ALL my secrets now. Well...not all of them. Somethings are to heavy for even my diary to know about.

"Don't call me that," I grumbled and slumped down into my chair, waiting for the teacher to arrive.

"I thought you were supposed to be a good girl, how'd you end up in here?" He asked turning in his chair to face me properly.

I just ignored him and trained my eyes to the front of the room with my arms folded across my chest.

"Hello? Dollface? I command you to speak to me."

"You what?!" I snapped, turning to look at him and his perfect teeth.

"I own you, remember?" He grinned smuggly.

I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Why did he have to be such a Brussle Sprout all the time!! No one likes a SPROUT!!!

"Don't remind me," I groaned.

At that moment the teacher walked in. "QUIET!!! You two are going to be working this entire time with absolutely no talking! Now hush!"

Great. Just GREAT!! To top this fantastic day off, we had Ms. Douglas for detention. This was going to be torture.

**********

After what seemed to be a lifetime, detention finally ended. Jake kept trying to talk to me the whole time and he kept throwing his rubber shavings at me. Like what's his problem?! UGH!

I waltzed out of detention quicker than you could say Poptarts. I didn't want to spend another minute with that sexy beast-i mean person. Well...that might not be the full truth but, you know what I mean.

"Hey, wait up!" Jake called behind me. "Do you need a ride home?"

"No I-" Suddenly a deep voice interrupted me.

"No, she's already got one," Chase stated, slinging an arm around my shoulders. My heart almost exploded. He needs to give me some warning when him and his beautiful face sneak up on me like that.

Jake sighed and I could've sworn that I sore him glare at Chase, but then again I could just be imagining things because soon after he gave me a wink and turned to leave without another word.

"So, where to bestie?" Chase joked giving me a breathtaking smile.

My stomach sank a little when he said that. I was SO friend zoned but who cares. It means I get to spend more time with Chase and I certainly wasn't complaining.

"I'm thinking the shops to get some ice cream and then back to mine to make a pillow fort and watch Lion King, you know, how we used to when we were kids?" I suggested, hanging my arm around his waist.

"Sounds good to me," he grinned pulling me closer as we strolled to his car.

We hadn't been hanging out as much as we used to lately. He's just been so preoccupied with his demon of a girlfriend to even notice me. Finally I was able to spend some time with him.
