The stranger, grabbed a remote sitting atop the kitchen bench and switched on the tv directly in front of us. Thankfully he didn't see us because the back of the couch was blocking us from view.
He pressed a few buttons and before we knew it music was playing from the speakers. He was listening to It's Not Unusual, and he sung along with it loudly, and terribly might I add, as he cut up some carrots for the container of homemade Tzatziki he'd pulled out of the fridge.
He wore a sharp looking suit, with a tie and he had golden brown hair, and a lot of freckles. His face was rounded and his eyes flowed with a sort of brightness and had an air of youth to them.
Kurt waltzed in, his hair extremely ruffled and larger than usual which I didn't even think was possible until now. Tiani followed closely beside him, their hands interlocked tightly, and she had a bright grin on her face.
"Tom Jones? Really?" Kurt laughed as he took a seat at the kitchen bench.
"One of the greats my ma-" he paused as he looked up and saw Tiani. "Who's this?"
"THIS, happens to be my girlfriend Tiani," Kurt corrected, smiling like a school girl as he said it. Tiani blushed a deep red and wrapped her arms around Kurt's shoulders and kissed his cheek.
"Nice to meet you," she chuckled.
"Uhh nice to-" he paused again but this time he let out a shrill squeal as he saw the three of our heads poking up over the couch.
"WHO ARE THEY?! God Kurt how many girlfriends do you need?!" He exclaimed, clutching his chest as if he'd had a heart attack.
"A minimum of ten at all times," Kurt answered plainly.
We all stood up, knowing that we'd been spotted and sheepishly made our way over to introduce ourselves.
"Hi, I'm Aliya. Kurt's FRIEND whom happens to be a girl," I grinned sticking out my hand for him to shake, which he took heartily.
"And this is Mia and Lucy, Kurt's friends who also happen to be girls," I explained.
"Woah woah woah, since when did those bozacs become my friends? I don't even know her name," Kurt said pointing to Mia.
"It's Mia," she spat with a sick smile.
"And the only things she's said to me," Kurt begun pointing to Lucy. "Was that I wear too much cologne!" He exclaimed like it was the most preposterous thing he's ever heard of.
"You do," every single one of us said in sync.
He stared at us wide eyed. "I feel attacked. Genuinely attacked. I'm gonna go cry by myself and then go and put on some MORE cologne just to spite you all!" He exclaimed.
"You do you man," Lucy chuckled.
"Meh meh meeeh," Kurt mocked in a high pitched voice.
"Anyway, what was your name again?" I asked.
"Oh sorry about that I completely forgot, I'm Drew," he smiled.
"And together we're-" Kurt started.
"KREW!" They exclaimed at the same time with wide arms and jazz hands.
"Krew?" Lucy scoffed.
"Yes Krew, now stop being bitter cause we're cooler than you'll ever be," Drew grinned.
"Keep dreaming hot shot," she retorted.
"Wait so, are you his..." I wasn't completely sure as to the the relationship here but there was definitely a resemblance between them. Drew looked about our age whereas Kurt was slightly older, possibly by only year.
