Eventually much to my dismay, Justin had to leave. I guess he had "celebrity" things to attend to or something, so I let him get back to it. I'm still trying to actually grasp onto the fact that I actually had a conversation with Justin Bieber and didn't cry! Not only that, but he also gave me boy advice!!! I still can barely believe that it was all real.
After waking Dawn up and getting Mia to snap out of her trance, we were escorted out and took an Uber back home.
We all clambered in the car totally exhausted. The driver greeted us warmly.
"Ladies ladies welcome, my name's Hank, you can call me, H, Hank-dog 3000, H-man, the Hankster or the Hanky Wanky and welcome to Sensational Jack!" He said enthusiastically with jazz hands. "That's my car's name if you didn't quite catch my drift there," he explained further.
"Hi," we all greeted chuckling lightly. Not everyday you get an Uber driver this...energetic about his job.
"Mmmm gimme a ticket to that gun show baby," Dawn grinned wickedly at me eyeing off the Uber driver.
Ew. Is she...no she has to be joking.
"Alright, now let's hit the road jack! Yee haw!" He said, seemingly speaking to his car more than us. Oh I get why it's called Sensational Jack. Makes sense. I respect a good pun.
So indeed we did, "hit the road" with Hank-dog 3000 and set off home after a long day.
We eventually dropped a still very dazed Mia back at her place first and then carried on to mine and Dawn's houses.
"Alright I have a question," I began midway through the car ride.
"And what would that be dear?" She replied.
"Since when did you buy Justin Bieber tickets??" I questioned.
"Since never," she answered casually, looking out the window. Okay what? That makes no sense whatsoever.
"Then how did you get in?" I asked, still highly confused.
She turned to look my way with an amused grin on her face. "Hun it's me, I can basically do anything. You should have learnt this by now."
"I'm serious," I chuckled. "How the heck did you get inside?"
"You really wanna know?" She said with an evil smirk across her delicately wrinkled face. She gestured for me to come closer and I did exactly that.
I nodded eagerly.
"I decided that a Justin Bieber concert sounded pretty fun, so I stuck around and decided to look for a way in when I overhead two crew members having a conversation. Long story short one of them was dealing with her monthly visit from her special friend and the other didn't have anything to lend her to help...uhh..."shut the friend up" so to speak. So I gave her a scented tampon in exchange for entry," she shrugged and then continued to stare out the window.
I gasped in disbelief. Hank simply added a "Nice," and nodded his head, a smile of respect on his face as he looked at Dawn through the rearview mirror.
"You actually made those??" I laughed, remembering back to when she'd pitched the idea to the business representatives at Dick's work party. The first time I'd met her. Wow that feels like forever ago but it's really only been like a month and a half.
"You bet I did," she laughed, her soft eyes crinkling warmly at the corners, melting my heart.
Eventually the three of us in the car began playing I spy for the rest of the ride home. Don't ask me how it started because I couldn't quite recall but I know that it was heaps of fun, as childish as it may seem.
