Authors note:
Heyy boo's, new chapter out! been super busy lately with school ahhh it's killing me just want it to be over but here's the chapter! Enjoy xx*********
No no no this can't happen, I can't let Jake and Chase fight. This isn't going to end well.
"Jake no!" I yell, running closer to them.
"JAKE ANDERSON you are not fighting this boy in my house, I don't know what's been going on with you lately!" Shayla scolded holding Jakes forearm tightly
"Shayla darl, a little fight isn't going to harm anyone. It's what boys do" Dawn says, walking closer towards us.
"Harm anyone? Mom are you serious!? They're not fighting! End of discussion!" Shayla yells even louder then last time.
"Look Shay, boys fight it's fine. Both of them are strong young lads, they'll be right, plus I REALLY wanna see how this goes down," Kurt says looking at Dawn with a matching smirk.
"Guys seriously please, let's not fight." I look at Chase directly in the eye. "Chase it's fine. It doesn't matter, let's go. I thought you'd be better than this," I say as calmly as possible, trying to persuade him.
Chase looks hurt, he steps back.
Shayla grabs Jake's arm and pulls him away.
I let out a huff, happy that they didn't fight.
Chase holds my hand and leads me to the front door...
I can tell that he's sorry.
"THUD!"
"WHAT THE F!"
I quickly turn around to see Chase holding his nose.
"One thing you should know about me is that I NEVER leave a fight unfinished." Jake says looking absolutely furious.
"Dude what the hell is wrong with you?!?" Chase exclaims, clutching his bleeding nose tightly.
"What can I say, it's in my blood.." Jake trailed.
In my blood.. what does he mean, in my blood....?
"JAKE GET IN YOUR ROOM NOW!" Shayla yells.
Jake just laughs.
Chase starts to walk closer to Jake, almost face to face but I pull him away quickly before things escalate any further.
"Chase, he's not worth it. Please, let's just go" I whisper soothingly, giving Jake a hard glare. Rage pumped through my veins steadily.
Chase storms out of the house.
"Jake your a asshole"
And with that I run outside to see if Chase was okay.
*********
"Does it hurt?" I ask with concern.
"No I'm fine, really. His punch was like super weak."
"Okay okay don't try to act all tough," I scoffed with an eye roll.
"What? It didn't!"
"Sure, sure" I say while handing him a ice pack.
"But really Chase, that was so unnecessary to storm up to his house and threaten him only because left me in the rain!"
"I know, I'm sorry but I just lost my cool, I really just...I...I despise him."
"I can tell, but that was just purely embarrassing."
"Okay shut up, stop making me feel bad about myself." He said with a small, smile.
