Ooooo what's this I see? A new character POV?!?! EnjoyyyyDREW POV
"She's rEeeAaAdDddYyy," Tiani's voice echoed through the entire house.
Instantly I had to fight the urge to sprint down the hallway to them, to see her again. I know it's crazy and I personally have never believed in it myself...well until now, but I think I've found love at first sight.
I couldn't be happier that she was coming to homecoming with me. The truth was, I actually had a lot of girls lining up to be my date for the evening despite what Kurt says. However, I turned them all down.
They were all the same to me. Barbie dolls who didn't care about anything else other than my money, sex or popularity. Don't get me wrong, they're all probably lovely people at heart but to me they were all the same.
Mia seemed different though. I can't exactly pinpoint what it was about her. Maybe it was just something as simple as the way she looked at me with those gorgeous Cadbury pools for eyes. Maybe it's something to do with the confident yet at the same time, kind way she speaks. Maybe it was the way she laughed at my antics, without a trace of judgement.
Whatever it was, I liked it.
A lot.
She stepped out from around the corner, Tiani behind her muffling squeals of excitement.
My breath hitched in my throat as I laid eyes on her.
She wore a tight, off shoulder, black dress that showed off her figure and had a large split. She wore high heels but I could tell that I was still taller than her. That made me grin slightly. She looked like the night sky, all it's beauty and all it's stars, captured in her.
She looked beautiful.
I couldn't manage to take my eyes off of her. Kurt waved a hand in front of my face, snapping me out of my trance.
"Yoo hoo! Earth to geekanoid!" Kurt chuckled.
I shoved him roughly with a playful smile on my face, "You KNOW I hate that name."
"Oh I know geekazoid. I know," he smirked shoving me back.
"Soooo, we ready to go?" Mia asked clearly feeling slightly anxious. I wouldn't blame her. Going to homecoming with some guy you've just met could be pretty daunting.
I gave her my best smile and took her arm in mine. I hoped this made her feel more at ease than nervous.
"Lets go," I grinned and led her out to the limousine awaiting us.
**********
We arrived, outside and I thanked the driver for taking us. I got out and sprinted around to open the door for Mia.
What can I say? I'm a gentlemen.
She chuckled and thanked me as I helped her get out of the car. I took her arm in mine for the second time this evening and lead her towards the doors. Right as we reached the entrance I heard her take a sharp breath and her grip on my arm tightened ever so slightly.
I paused before opening the doors and leaned down to whisper in her ear, "You'll be fine. I won't leave your side the whole night so you have nothing to worry about."
She turned her head to look up at me and gave me a dazzling smile.
Damn she's gorgeous.
Our faces were insanely close. A second more and I felt I might loose all control. I grinned and turned back to the doors, thrusting them open.
