Well it's Saturday morning and surprisingly I'm not the super grouchy person I usually am in the morning, maybe it has something to do with Jake. We kinda had a moment last night.
No. Get that thought out of your head. You can not like Jake! You like chase remember? Jake would never like me like that anyway. He's a player.
Ughhhhh, just need to get him off my mind , which will be kind of hard considering I'm meant to be going over to his house and finish our chemistry assignment. This is going to be a long day.

Im currently standing at jakes door, overthinking everything. I mean I'm just here to finish our assignment it's not like we're going to be forced to talk about last night.
What if it's awkward? We almost kissed last night. What do I even say? Ughhhhhh. Why does everything have to be so complicated?! I don't even know how I feel about him and I still almost kissed him.
I'm suddenly cut off by my thoughts when a sweet looking middle aged women answers the door.

"Hi sweetie." She smiles opening the door wider so I can come in.

"Hi Shayla." I say returning her smile with one of my own.

"Here for Jake I'm guessing?"

I nod in response.

"He's in he's room. And remember no love without the glove."

I just stand there wide eyed.

"I think I'll go up now..." I say awkwardly as I head for the stairs that lead up to jakes bedroom.
Why does everyone keep telling us to use protection? We haven't even kissed yet.
I think as I knock on his bedroom door. But no one answers.
Maybe I should just go in. What's the worst that could happen.
I think to myself as I turn the door knob. I look around the familiar room remembering the last time I was in here. Ughhh. That was so embarrassing.
I'm to busy thinking about my previous embarrassments to notice the shower running in the bathroom connected to jakes room. And before I know it there's a tall extremely fit guy standing in front of me. The water accentuating his toned abdomen.
I just stand there wide eyed staring at the god like figure standing in front of me.

"Like what you see princess?" Jake asks, his signature smirk plastered on his face.

"Ummm... yes- i mean no- I mean maybe." I stutter

Jake let's out a deep sexy laugh. Ughhhhhhh!! how can someone be so gorgeous? It's so unfair. How come he gets all the good genes? Would it kill him share a little?

"Hellooo." Jake says waking me from my day dream.

"Huh?" I say probably sounding like the dumbest person ever.

"You might want to turn around. Unless you want to watch me get dressed that is." He smirks slyly knowing how uncomfortable he's making me.

"Oh yeah."

He lets out another deep chuckle while I just stand there cursing myself for walking in at the wrong time. Seriously Aliya you couldn't of waited two minutes. Would it really be that hard?

"You can turn around now."

I slowly turn, my cheeks going red at a tomato. I turn around to Jake. Realizing that he was still shirtless.

I look into his bright green eyes, I'm not sure what to do with myself. Jakes looks at me, his intense stare piercing into me.

His eye are so easy to get lost in. Honestly they need to make a map to get out of his eyes.

I finally got myself out. Realizing he was still shirtless.. I didn't know what to do or say but the only thing that came out of my mouth was.

"Um can you put a shirt on already?"

Jake says with a smirk. "Am I making you uncomfortable?"

"Huh no, what? Of course not. Just put one on so we can get to work"

"Nah I'll leave it off, now hurry on let's get to this project!"

We finally finished project, even though not going to lie it was difficult seeing him shirtless.

I go to walk outside, Jake walking me out. I walk to the end of his drive way, Jake leaning on his motorbike. Jake looses eye contact looking straight at my house. His smirk changing to a grimace.

I turn to look at what his looking at. I see Chase standing there with my favorite flowers, I can't stop myself from blushing.

I forget to even say bye to Jake, I run towards him.

"Chase, what are you doing here?"

"Aliii hey I wanted to surprise you, at I interrupting something?"

"No, of course not." But at the same time Jake was all of a sudden behind me, saying yes at the same time.

I turn to Chase saying, "let me get dress I'll be down in a minute"

I run upstairs to get changed trying to found a good outfit that I do hope Lucy and Tiani would approve of. I chose a skirt, with a tight tank top. But I stop as I hear yelling? downstairs... I run down stairs to see what was happening.

I look outside to see Jake and Chase fighting? I freeze as Jake looks so angry that's his about to punch Chase. I run as fast as I can to stop him.

Just as I open the door I hear a loud thump. I look around to see what it was to see chase laying On the floor holding his gushing nose.

"JAKE!! What the hell are you doing?!" I scream running to chases side.

Jake gives me an unreadable look and storms off.

"Chase, are you ok?" I ask.

"Yeah, I'm fine. It's just a little blood." Chase says sitting upright.

"What happened?"

"I don't know. He just went crazy and started punching me."

That's so weird. I know Jake has that whole bad boy demeanor but he wouldn't just punch someone for no reason, would he?

"Come inside and we'll get you cleaned up."

"Nah, I'm all good. We have a movie to get to anyway." He says leading me to his truck.

I suddenly get excited all over again and run to the passenger side were Chase was waiting to open the door like the gentleman he is. And then he hopped into the driver seat and drives of.

Half way to the cinema high school musicals 'start of something new comes on. We look at each other with a smirk and turn up the volume. And start jamming out to our song.

We spent the rest of the drive taking and laughing just like we used to.

Once we get to our final destination I see that we are at the drive in. Our spot. He's so cute sometimes.

"What are we seeing?" I ask curiously.

"Titanic." He says with a smirk know how much I love the movie.

We spent the rest of the night cuddled up in the back of his truck because of the cool night air. Not that I'm complaining though.
This day just seems to good to be true. Chase is truly something.

But why the sudden change of heart? Why does he only now want to spend so much time with me?
