After Chariot tells Akko who she is
Croix feels bad and gives up being evil all because she sees Chariot cry
Not gonna lie, I squealed a bit writing this one 😂😂😂

(Croix POV)

Akko ran off, tears streaming down her face. "Weak." I chuckle under my breath.

I turn to Chariot, expecting her to be enraged and charging at me. Instead, I see her staring off into space, tears flowing down her face from her lifeless eyes.

Maybe I took it too far.

I bite my lip, squeezing my eyes shut to avoid seeing her.

Oh, man... I messed up... BIG time...

I can hear Chariot sobbing now, squeezing my eyes tighter. "It's all my fault." she mutters between sobs.

No, it's mine. Chariot.......

I risk a glance at her, my heart shattering at the sight:
Chariot, the first and only person I've ever loved, standing there. Helpless.

Oh no.

"Chariot, I-I-" I stutter, slowly approaching her.

She looks at me, looking away quickly to hide her face in her sleeve.

My heart quickens as I now begin running towards her.

I envelope her in my arms, feeling her tense before crying into my neck. "I'm sorry." I whisper, stroking her hair as she clings to the front of my shirt.

"N-No, I-I'm s-sor-" I cut her off with a flick on her nose. "Enough of that.*

I pull back to see a blushing, tear-stained Chariot before me.

I smile softly, wiping her tears away with my thumbs as she leans into my hand, smiling back.

"I'm sorry." I say again, looking down as a few tears make their way to my eyes now.

She lifts my chin with her hand, gently smiling at me. "Don't be." she whispers. "If anything, I should be sorry."

I cock an eyebrow. "Why?" I ask, genuinely confused as to why she would feel sorry.

She sighs, still smiling. "Well, I was the one who wanted to be famous, right?" she giggles. "You were always trying to help, but only because you felt you needed to."

I shake my head. "No, Char. I helped you because... I loved you. Still do." I mumbled the last part, smiling softly to myself.

She smiles wider, hugging me tightly around my midsection. I giggle, hugging her back around the neck.

"Me too." she said, resting our foreheads together. I blush, biting my lip as I stare into her crimson eyes.

"Are you gonna kiss me yet?" she whispers, giggling a bit as a light blush rests on her cheeks.

I nod, wrapping my arms around her waist. One of her hands rests on my shoulder, the other lightly pressed against my cheek.

I lean forward, connecting our lips as my eyes instinctly shut. Our lips dance together as her arm snakes further around my neck, pulling me closer.

I could never be happier than in this moment, here, with my bestfriend-turned-enemy-turned-girlfriend.
