"Croiix~!!!" Chariot calls, knocking on the bathroom door.

"I'm not wearing this." I mumble to her through the cracked door.

I quickly shut it again as she tried to pull it back open.

"NO!"

"Yes."

"You cannot convince me to go out in public like this!"

"Watch me."

I can't believe she convinced me to go out in public like this...

"Oh, c'mon Croix! You look beautiful!" Chariot said as I froze in place, blush consuming my face.

"S-Shut it, Char Bear." I mumble, crossing my arms over my PRACTICALLY EXPOSED chest.

I hate bikinis...........

Chariot grabs my hand, running towards the water.

"AH!" I scream. This water was freezing.

Chariot just stands there giggling at me before I angrily stomp out of the water and onto the sand.

"Croix!" Chariot calls for me, but I was already on my beach towel.

I open my eyes to see Char standing right over me.

"Can you help me put on some sunscreen please?" she asks.

I sigh. "You mean you haven't yet?"

She slowly nods, handing me the bottle.

"Thanks, Croix~!" she says with her big stupid grin.

"Yeah yeah." I say while rubbing some on her shoulders and arms.

I marvel at her body. She had some muscles, though I'd expect that from an athlete like Chariot.

"Uh, Croix?" Chariot calls, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"S-Sorry, I got lost in thought." I apologise.

"Thoughts about me~?" Chariot teases with a smirk.

"You wish!" I counter, shoving her slightly as I try to hide my growing blush.

"Yeah, I do." she mumbles just loud enough for me to hear.

"Wait what?"

"What?"

"What did you just say?"

"What did you just say?"

"Chariot Du Nord!"

"Croix Meridies!"

We start giggling, lying down on our towels together.

"Wanna get something to eat?" I ask after a while.

"Croix, how are you always hungry?" Chariot jokes, poking my arm.

"Oh, hush. Or you can buy your own dinner." I tease back.

"Noooo! Have mercy, Croix!" she yells dramatically, clinging to my leg as I begin to walk away.

"Oh my gosh. C'mon, you dork. Dinner on me." I say, offering to help her up.

"I had a nice time today. What about you?" Chariot asks as we walk towards her dorm.

"Yeah. It was... fun." I smile at her.

"Well, see you later Croix." Chariot hugs me tight.

We gaze at each other for a moment, slowly leaning closer.

Our lips brush gently for a few moments before she pulls away.

"Bye." Char calls, shutting her door behind her and leaving me stunned.

"Wow..." I mutter, stumbling back towards my dorm.
