"we'll go down in flames, pretty lady,"

A Week Later
My footprints bled into the very faint snow, as I talked to Jimin on the phone, continuing to talk and walk at the same speed.
"I'm really really sorry I couldn't be there for your birthday last week. I know you were maybe alone, and I just felt really guilty andㅡ"
"Jimin, it's fine! Today will make up for it, right?"
"Yeah, I think you'll like the restaurant. It's not really a restaurant more like a cafe, or a meet and greet,"
I chuckled, "I'll see you in a few minutes!"
"Bye bye!"
I hung up, sighing gently before I sniffled. I continued to walk to the address he sent, a little nervous to he seeing him again after that. . . Well, y'know.
It's also been a week since the boys left, but I'm doing fine.
Of course I miss them, I just don't miss them as much as I used to, I guess.
-
Meanwhile. . .
Namjoon walked across the streets of Earth, a beanie on his head and his long coat trailing on the concrete, pushing his glasses back onto his nose as they fell a little.
He came back to Earth to see Grey and his sister later, it only being a few days, but he also just missed the two.
Though as he continued to walk, a strange feeling made it's way to his gut.
But pushed it aside.
It felt like something was going to happen, but he always feels that
way. . . Right?"Maybe it's just because you ate so many cookies, stop worrying, Joon." He murmured to himself.
The young man walked passed a small pastry shop or cafe, looking inside for a few seconds.
He did want to go inside, the smell of freshly baked bread and brownies wanting to pull him in, but as always he refused.
But something else caught his eye. . .
"Is that Jimin?"
He suddenly walked inside the quite crowded place, peeking over the heads to see Jimin's brunette locks.
But there was someone else with him, that was definitely not Grey.
All of a sudden, Namjoon fell face first from all the people running him over, scooting away from.the people and into an empty corner.
He took out his phone, trying to find the table Jimin and the mystery stranger were sitting at.
He snapped a photo, going to his gallery and zooming into the photo.
Turns out his plan worked out better than expected.
He observed the now familiar features of the 'stranger'; fading red locks, big smile, a bright assortment of clothing. . .
Joon froze.
"Hobiㅡah?"
He stood up quickly, pushing past people and yelling apologies as he zoomed out of the cafe, glancing back at Hoseok and Jimin.
But when looking down at his phone, his eyes widened.
"Shit, I cracked my phone!"
Not giving a single fuck, he ran through the traffic, earning honking of horns and incoherent yells, surprisingly making it across the street without getting himself killed.
He looked down at his phone, scrolling through his saved numbers and contacts and finding the person he wanted to.
He pressed call, almost yelling into the phone :
"Yoongi hyung! I found Hoseok."
-
I looked back down at my phone again, making sure the address I was at was correct.
I looked up at the sign, reading the cursive and aesthetically pleasing words 'Sora's Cafe'
Huh. Catchy.
I spotted Jimin inside, smiling to myself when he waved me over.
I went inside, making the bell on to door ring out. "Welcome to Sora's!" The young lady behind the cashier said, before I nodded in thanks.
I sat in front of Jimin, letting out a deep breath I didn't know I was holding.
"Hey,"
"Hi,"
We both said, making me chuckle a little, before I looked at the plate he had.
"Is that a chocolate chip cookie?"
"Want some?" I accepted, smiling to the angelic like boy that I've probably fallen for.
"Iㅡ I didn't know if this was similar to a date or not, but I let Hoseok come along if that's okay with you. I just don't want him to be alone todayㅡ"
I simply choked on air at his sentence, clutching my chest before he got up patted my back worridly.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, completely fine!" I wiped my eyes from the slight tears, the pressure from me almost choking effecting me greatly.
"Sorry, kind of choked on air there," I laughed a little, mentally slapping myself.
"He just went to bathroom, he said he's been feeling sort of sick." He glanced at the bathroom farthest away from our table.
"Ah,"
There was silence.
"Um, Grey, I wanted to ask you. . . Have you ever had a boyfriend?"
I almost choked again, to be honest.
"Actually, no. I mean, I've liked a few guys in the past, but I guess they never liked me back. I was kind of okay with it though," I simply shrugged, as he nodded.
"Well, iㅡif you'll allow it, I'd be honored to have the title of being your boyfriend?"
I froze, averting my gaze toward him slowly. "Really?"
"Yes, really."
I slowly grinned. "I'd also be honored to have the title as your girlfriendㅡ"
"Andㅡ?"
"It's a yes,"
He laughed, happily smiling to me and squirming in his seat. "This may be creepy, but you don't know how long I've waited for this!"
"Not creepy at all," I giggled under my breath, suddenly feeling a buzz in the pocket of my sweater.
"Sorry, I'll be right back." I smiled to him once more, before standing up, and going outside to answer my phone.
"Namjoon, hey," But that's when my smile fell, turning into a frown.
"Woah, slow down!"
He panted on the other end, before speaking again. "Yoongi and the others are coming to Earth, so they can help."
"With what?!"
". . . It's Hoseok."
And it always is.
