Naruto

(Aman's POV)

Beep. Beep. Beep.

'Where am I? What's that noise?'

I opened my eye's to see a white ceiling. The beeping noise was coming from a heart monitor at the side of my bed. 

'Am I in the hospital?'

I looked to my other side to see Kakashi, sitting in a chair next to my bed. He looked terrible. He had dark circles under his eyes, his hair was all messed up, and I could tell he had been crying. I sat up and rubbed my head.

"Kakashi?"

He bolted up from his slouching position, and looked in shock at me. He had red, blood shot eyes

"Aman?! Thank Kami your all right! I was so worried!," Kakashi said while hugging me. I hugged back.

"Yeah. I'm all right."

He let go of me after a minute of just holding me. Then I spoke.

"What happened?"

"You blacked out, out of shock."

"Wow. What happened after that? Wait, what happened to the Nine Tails?!"

"It's ok Aman. Mintato sacrificed him self for the good of the village, and sealed the Nine Tails in his new born son."

"His son? What about Kushina?"

"She's gone as well. They both sacrificed them selves for the village."

I can't believe this. Minato, and Kushina were dead. But their son. He was alive. And had the Nine Tails sealed inside him. People must hate him. But it's not like it's his fault. He is now just a puppet of blame for people to hate. But I won't hate him. I'll take care of him for as long as I can.

"What about their son? Where's he?"

"He's down in the bottom level of the hospital."

"I want to see him."

(Time skip)

We were standing in front of the entrance to a small room, with a crib at the center. There were nurses trying to calm the crying baby. It didn't seem like it was working. I entered the room and asked if I could try to calm him.

"If you really want to try and calm this monster, than sure."

"He isn't a monster. Just because he has a monster sealed inside him, doesn't make him a monster," I replied sternly.

I walked over to the crib. The boy looked so sad. He wouldn't stop crying. I held my hand out to him. He grabbed it and immediately stopped crying, but he still had tears rolling down his checks. Aman smiled at him. Surprisingly, he smiled back. The nurses were shocked, so was Kakashi.

"He likes you, Aman," Kakashi chuckled. I laughed.

"Yeah. I think he does. What's his name?," I said with a big smile.     

" Naruto. You know, you should ask the new Hokage if you can take care of him 'till he can live on his own, Aman," Kakash suggested. I smiled big at the thought. We then left to see the 3rd Hokage, but not without a little struggle getting my hand free.

(Time skip)

We knocked on the new Hokage's door, and waited until we heard a faint, 'Come in.' We went in, and in the chair was an old man with a pipe in his mouth

"Hello Lord Hokage. We were hoping to speak with you."

"Ah, hello. You're Aman, if I am not mistaken. This is good I was hoping to speak with you. But first, what is it you need?"

"Well, I was hoping I could, maybe, I don't know, t-take care of N-Naruto until he can live on his own?"

The Hokage looked at me, surprised that I would want to take care of him.

"Are you sure Aman?"

"Yes, I am."

"Very well then. You may," he said with a smile.

I cheered. I was so happy! The Hokage and Kakashi both laughed at my reaction. Once I calmed down, I spoke again.

"So what was it you wanted to talk to me about, Lord Hokage?"

"Oh yes. I wanted to tell you, that you have been promoted to captain of your Anbu division. Wich makes you the youngest captain ever, at only 13. And not to mention, this is the fastest anyone has ever been promoted. But you're almost 14, and you deserve it."

I was shocked at this news. I knew I was pretty good, but I didn't know I was that good. But I do love the idea of being a captain so, what the frick.

"That is amazing Lord Hokage! I won't let you down!"

Again Kakashi and the Hokage laughed at my enthusiasm.

Training Itachi, taking care of Naruto, and being captain of my Anbu division, this should be fun.

Sweet! This was a pretty long chapter! I hope you're ready, because in a couple chapters you will learn what Aman's kekegenki, Dorobo, is!
