We came back from the summer house two days ago and it's been two days since I last spoke to Alex and four days since Damien kissed me.
The days we spend together, Damien and I, at the summer house after the kiss, I spend them trying not to feel awkward; treating him and talking to him as if nothing have happened. He was more cautious though. He wasn't teasing me that much, maybe because I wasn't really in the mood, but I could feel his eyes on me several times during those days.
I tried to force myself into forgetting that Alex and I haven't talk in two days and I was constantly thinking every minute of our weekend again and again just to prevent myself from thinking about Damien and the kiss. This "treatment" only made things worse as my mobile never received a message from Alex. In my reverie I did send him a message last night; saying that I missed him.
I knew my relationship with Alex wasn't going to last, but after the weekend we spend together subconsciously I was hoping I had more than a couple of weeks with him.
Someone knocked on my door; breaking my thoughts.
"Yes?" I called and the door opened; Max walked in bearing gifts.
"Hey," he said giving me an ice cream.
"What's up?" I asked and sat on the couch; tapping the spot next to me.
"Not much," he said and sat next to me "Lexie went away for a week with her family."
"Ohh, that's why the face," I scoffed licking my ice cream and he poked me on the arm.
"How's Alex?" he asked. I had told him about me and Alex two days ago. At first I thought he would be upset for not telling him but he was very cool about it.
"I think I'll break up with him," I mumbled; speaking my thought out loud for the first time.
"Why?" he asked. If it was Cleo making the question; she would actually yelling, telling me I was crazy. I was expecting this kind of response and took me several seconds to reply.
"Before he dumps me," I simply said, finishing my ice cream.
"Reasonable," he begun "For a fifteen year old," he mocked "But whatever makes you sleep at night," he grinned and the same moment Cleo walked in; not even knocking on the door.
"How do you even get in my house people?" I wondered looking both of them; laughing. Max chuckled but Cleo remained serious. She had a newspaper in her hands.
"I'm listening," I raised my eyebrows as clearly something was wrong. She didn't speak. Instead she handed me the newspaper.
"Still think I'm acting like a fifteen year old?" I asked Max, who leaned closer to get a look on the front page.

I drove my old beetle towards Alex's mansion; the newspaper that Cleo gave me folded inside my bag.
I parked my car next to his silver Porsche and walked to his office. I was oddly calm. I knocked on the door and went in when I heard his familiar voice calling me to come in.
"Good morning love," I smiled; using his pet name. He was already standing in front of his large wooden desk; waiting for me.
"Good morning," he replied also smiling and leaned down and kissed me softly on the lips. I hated how much I missed his taste. I almost lingered in his arms. I missed him.
"How was the trip?" I asked him casually and sat on the couch cross legged; my mini skater skirt stretching on my legs.
"Fine," he said sitting down beside me. He looked at my legs for a moment; making me smile with satisfaction.
