it's my last day in bora bora and I have to admit, I'm really sad. I'm leaving my favorite vaction spot and a boy who I really like. i honestly feel really bad for Shawn, he's going to spend the rest of his holiday with the shittiest excuse of a girlfriend.
"shit" i say almost tripping over shawns notebook that I may or may not have read last night. sorry it was too tempting. the contents of the book just had song lyrics probably written ages ago about a made up girl.
I decide to place it in a box with the flower Shawn put in my hair on our first date. I leave a note and place it outside his door then head off to the airport.
I play some sad tunes as the plane takes off, on route to london.
I have quite the busy week ahead. the royal wedding, meeting up with tom after way too long and lots of auditions. I'm excited though. I've missed my second family and the whole avengers cast. I've missed working to be honest. I'm just excited to get back to my normal life and hopefully I can keep my mind of people for a while.
i start to doze off just as the live version of don't be a fool plays. I miss him and so does my brain so I end up dreaming about the boy.
-shawns pov just as I finally calm down about losing my notebook, I walk outside to find a box with my name on it.
I open it to reveal a note, the flower I gave chelsea on our first date and my notebook. I smile softly while picking up the light pink flower thinking about her and that day. that perfect day. completely forgetting the notebook even exists, I pull out the note and take a read.
dearest, shawn these past days have been nothing but perfect and I wish I could stay on this island with you forever however that can not be the case. it breaks my heart to know that we can't be together, but it's for the best. just know that you did nothing wrong except for be too good to me and you will always carry a special piece of my heartforever. I wish you the best of luck in your career and life. also please tell Aaliyah I said hi. take this flower and use it to remember me in a positive way only. also Idefinitelydidn't snoop in your notebook that you left at my place ;) you have quite the creative mind andwhom ever you'rewrithing about should feel like the luckiest girl in the world. this is not the end, Shawn. we will meet again♡
