A/N: hey guys, I skipped/changed some of the lyrics to fit the story, but I hope you still enjoy it; more chapters on the way.

Nightfall came, and Evan was already by the moon pool with the book of spells at the ready. Wolves were already gathering around it, sitting in silence as moon light now seeped in. Evan looked down at the spell and said it aloud.
"To see the truth, and know the way, I cast a spell in every way. By the power of three I conjure thee to give thy truth unto me."
The water rippled, the water turning to a darker blue. The wolves began to whimper and grow anxious. A hand, completely blue, bursted from the water and clawing its way up. Evan became terrified as he saw himself now in front of him, standing in the middle of the water with those red glowing eyes boring into his own dark chocolate-brown. He was forced to face the curse that lived deep inside him; the copy sneered.
"Well well well~," he snickered, "If it isn't Evan Fong, or, me."
"No," Evan shook his head, "You're not me."
"Oh, but I am you. The you that you refuse to say that is you...Do you really think that I would ever let you go? Do you think I'd ever set you free? If you do, I'm sad to say it simply isn't so. You will never get away from me."
Evan frowned, his eyes wide with fear.
"All that you are is a face in the mirror! I close my eyes and you disappear!"
"I'm what you face when you face in the mirror! Long as you LIVE I will still be here!"
"All that you are is the end of a nightmare! All that you are is a dying scream! After tonight, I shall end this demon dream!"
The Evan clone grinned evilly; it rushed forward and went right into Evan's face.
"This is not a dream, my friend, and it will never end! This one is the nightmare that goes on! I AM HERE TO STAY, no matter WHAT you may pretend, and I'll flourish long after you're gone!"
Evan staggered back a little.
"Soon you will die, and my memory will hide you! You cannot help but lose control!"
"You can't control me! I live deep inside you! Each day you'll feel me devour your soul!"
"I don't need you to survive like you need, I'll become whole when you dance with DEATH! And I'll rejoice as you breath your final breath!"
Evan was then dragged into the dark water; he could breath, but he could see large, red glowing eyes with an evil grin with those pointed fangs.
"I'll live inside you forever!"
Evan shook his head.
"NO!"
"With satan himself by my side!"
"NO!"
"And I know that now and forever, they'll never be able to separate Evan from the curse!"
"Can't you see it's-"
Evan bursted up from the water.
"-Over now?! Time to die!"
The other popped up as Evan crawled back.
"No not I! Only you!"
"If I die, you'll die too!"
"You die in me, I'll be you!"
"Damn you curse! LET ME BE!"
"Can't you see, YOU ARE ME?!"
Evan grasped his head and closed his eyes.
"No! Deep inside-!"
"I am you, you are me!"
"No, NEVER!"
"Yes, FOREVER!"
"Damn you curse! Take all this evil, and rot in HELL!"
The clone smiled wickedly, looking insane.
"I'll see you there, Evan!"
"NO!"
Evan looked, and all he saw was ripples in the water. He then sobbed as he was on all fours, his hands in fists.
He's right...I'm right, Evan cried, I will go to hell for all of this...
A small wave came up to him, and a wet hand pressed up against his cheek. He looked up and saw a water representation of his mother, smiling softly down at him.
"I love you so much," she said, "You are but a trapped angel in search for his key out. Stay on the path of light, and you will find what you seek. And remember: I, and your father, will always love you."
Evan reached up, but the water collapsed and went back in the pool as the same circle appeared above it. It waited for a question.
"Where is Jonathan?," Evan asked weakly, still shaken from his experience.
In the center the image morphed, going up the trail through the graveyard until reaching his parent's crypt. The doors opened and lead down eroded steps until reaching the bottom, but it wasn't like he remembered. Inside his parent's coffins were gone, and instead there was a dark tunnel. The image kept traveling down and down until reaching this huge cave under the earth. A dark looming castle rested there; going in the castle it revealed a throne room, and turning up it showed a bird cage, and inside was a chained up, sleeping Jonathan.
Jonathan, he watched his love flutter his eyes open.
The water ripple, and the mirror collapsed. The wolves were still silent, and all Evan could do was still kneel there on the ground.
I'll save you Jonathan, he turned his hands to fists, I promise.
Jonathan thought something was watching him, but when looking around he saw nothing. He brought his knees to his chest as he continued to ensure himself with hope. He heard footsteps echo, and he stood to his feet as Tenebris teleported into the cell.
"I'm sure you wish not to be trapped up here," he approached, "So I will be a good person and let you out...For now."
Jonathan found himself teleported out, the chains no longer attached to him as Tenebris stood in front of him. Tenebris approached him and trailed the tips of his fingers down his cheek.
"So beautiful," he hummed, "So soft."
Jonathan slapped Tenebris's hand away, resorting to feeling miserable. Tenebris didn't like the reaction, but he brushed it aside.
"You are allowed to explore anywhere in my, well, our home," he explained with a small chuckle, "But I will advise that you avoid the rooms you are forbidden to go into. How you can tell will be via your collar."
Tenebris snapped his fingers, and the stone on Jonathan's collar glowed a little before returning to normal.
"It will glow to warn you when you are about to go in a forbidden room, and if you do not heed its warning...I will know."
Tenebris put a kiss on Jonathan's cheek before walking off somewhere. Jonathan sighed as he began to walk back the way he came. He decided to memorize the building so that he could know his way around, if ever Evan was to find him. He turned a corner and froze; down the hall blocking a door was a panther, its fur dark as soot, but it appears to be asleep. Or at least it was.
It seemed to sniff the air before opening its golden eyes. It spotted Jonathan and sat up, looking at him as if he was going to approach. Jonathan took a deep breath and took a slow step forward. The big cat growled lowly.
"I'm not going to hurt you," Jonathan kneeled down and held out a hand, "And I don't want to be hurt."
The panther sat there for a moment before getting up and approaching Jonathan.
