Your 7 birthday coming up in 2 weeks still don't know what you want.? I asked Kammer sitting down at the table.

His words hit me hard...no one has heard or seen Rockiem in over 5 years. Last time I seen him he was giving me Kammer and left us. We still had security and birthdays and Christmas was never forgotten so we knew he had to still be alive. He was always asking questions about him since he was getting older.

I'm sure he will send you something very nice fr your birthday.! I said taking a sip of my coffee and putting my scrub top on. I was working doubles at the hospital lately so i could give him the best birthday ever. He was fascinated with Paris and we both where learning a second language together just for bonding time so I figured why not to take him to Paris for his birthday....

Yeah I guess.! What time is Melody coming.? He asked rolling his eyes. Melody was his baby sitter and since school was out and he didn't wanna attend summer camp this year Melody it was.!

She should be here soon.! I said grabbing my work phone and stethoscope. I swear I loved being a nurse. I graduated with my BSN in nursing a couple months ago I went straight in after high school. Sometimes was harder than others but I stuck by it and I graduated and got my BSN. Just Than the doorbell rang and a text came across my phone "696969" I looked at it in confusment....

Maaaaaaa.! Melody is here.! Kammer yelled out breaking me out my daze i closed out the messages and grabbed my coffee.

Hi Mel.! I said giving her a side hug. "I left a 100 bill on the counter so y'all can do something today and get food gas if you need it, whatever. NO juices or anything after 8 no matter how sweet he talks you.!"

Okay Raven.! She giggled and Kammer sucked his teeth. I kissed him bye and they walked me to the door. I got in my Range Rover and pulled off heading to work. Everybody there always thought I was some big drug dealers girlfriend. A lot of the bitches on my unit hated me. I didn't care, I didn't come to work to make friends I came to make money so I shrugged them off and stayed to myself. Alex Kiems ex girlfriend went around setting roomers about me how I stole her man and shit like that. I was mad at first but when I realized I had a BSN and she only had an associates degree i had more to lose than she did so I didn't pay her no mind. I make more money than her and most them bitches in there so I didn't give a fuck what they said about me.
