"How do these pants look?" I asked Austin as I twirled in the mirror.

"They look great." He smiled as he came and stood behind me in the mirror holding me by my waist.

"Thanks." I laughed and planted a kiss on his hand as I grasped it.

It had been a week since his title had changed from my best friend to my boyfriend. I honestly had been so happy with Austin and words couldn't explain how happy I was.

"So what do you wanna do after this?" He asked as he stepped back and made his way back to his seat.

"Maybe go get some yogurt." I shrugged while still admiring myself in the mirror.

"As always." He rolled his eyes with a smile.

"Well I'm gonna go take off these pants be back in a sec."

I had only been in the dressing room for what felt like 2 minutes, but I guess time doesn't have anything to do with a mostly unexpected surprise. Austin was talking to Diego and some girl. As I came up to them a smile crept up on Diego's face.

"What's up." He beamed, smiling brightly from ear to ear.

"Um hey." I replied at the sudden shock, "Weird running into you here."

"Yeah, this is my girlfriend Jessica." He pointed to the girl that stood beside him.

She was really pretty and had big bright brown eyes and gorgeous brown silky hair that was down her back, "Hey." She spoke in a bubbly tone.

"I'm Cassie." I finally said.

"Well Cassie and I were gonna head to the yogurt shop, you guys wanna come?" Austin offered.

I wanted to kick Austin in the spine for inviting them out with me, but I didn't utter a word. Maybe Jessica and I would become friends.

"Yeah sure." Diego accepted the offer.

At the yogurt shop everything was going perfectly fine. The boys had told Jess and I to find a good table to sit at. Jess was a sweet girl, but I was pretty confused about the whole relationship thing, where as Diego was at my house with a couple of girls.

"So how long have you two been together?" I eased the question in as we took a seat from across each other.

"Um a few months." Jess responded.

"Oh cool."

"Yeah he's told me so much about you." She began to play with her nails.

"Oh, like what?"

"Something relating to the fact that you're a crazy bitch." She looked up at me with a devious look in her eyes, and a smirk upon her face, "I don't like you around Diego, I've seen the way you look at him and I want you to stay away."

"Oh honey, I think you have it confused you must be referring to the way he looks at me." I sassed, "But if you want me to stay away from him then its done."

Just as Jess was about to reply with something smart Diego and Austin were back at the table with the yogurt.

"Four yogurts coming right up." Austin greeted us, but his smile quickly faded when he saw the smug look on my face.

"Something wrong?" He asked me with a concerned expression on his face.

"Nope, I just want to take my yogurt to go?"

"Why was it something I said?" Jessica teased as she played with her spoon and put a bit of yogurt in her mouth.

"Nope, I just don't wanna be here anymore." I smartly replied and got up from the table heading out the door preparing my mouth for any smart words that would come out of her mouth.

"See you later." She waved goodbye.

"Whatever." I flipped her off before leaving the yogurt shop.

When I got home Austin and I were home alone. Candy and my mom were gone probably out working. She had announced at dinner last night that she had got a job at a local market. I was happy for her and over the time that Candy had been there she had become a second mom to me, and I grew to love her. But in this moment I was still enraged by what Diego's girlfriend had said to me.

"I swear Austin she seemed so sweet at first but she turned out to be a total bitch." I huffed as I stepped into the kitchen and placed my purse down.

"Babe I understand." Austin began as he followed me into the kitchen behind me, "But that shouldn't matter to you anymore she doesn't live here Diego does and you just have to respect that, that is his choice for a girlfriend." Austin explained.

"I understand." I sighed.

"Well I'll see you later." Austin planted a kiss on my forehead and headed out the door.

Diego had entered the kitchen as Austin was leaving, which had made things awkward because I didn't know if he'd heard anything that was said.

There was an awkward silence between us as I began to wash dishes and he headed for the fridge.

"You didn't tell me you had a girlfriend." I broke the silence.

"Yeah I do, but if you have a crush on me that's all you had to say instead of telling my girlfriend that we hooked up." Diego slammed the refrigerator.

"What!" My eyes bucked as I gave Diego a shocked expression.

He seemed surprised by my reaction but went on, "Cassie you're so over dramatic."

"What do you mean over dramatic, you're girlfriend told me that you said that I was a crazy bitch! I never said anything relating to the fact that I slept with you!" I began to get louder and angrier by the minute.

"You're such a liar." Diego rolled his eyes and began to walk out the door, "Jess was nice to you and you were mean to her because I guess it is true you are a bitch!" Diego shouted.

I pulled one of the heavy glass plates out of the sink and threw it directly at his head, missing him by an inch but that didn't stop it from shattering against the wall.

I eyed the pieces that fell to the floor and focused my vision on Diego.

"You are doing this to me, driving me insane. Sure believe your girlfriend but what I'll never be is a bitch and a liar." I shouted as face began to get red hot, "I can't stand you and I want you gone, what do I even look like saying that I slept with you out of the blue I don't like you and I never will!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.

"Hey, hey, hey, what happened here!" My mother's eyes had nearly popped out of her head as she looked the view, "Cassie my good dish!"

I stood there in silence then stormed out of the kitchen, my mother attempted to grab me but I brushed her off.

I could tell by the look in his eyes that Diego was hurt, but I didn't care because he had hurt me. I knew that it was too good to be true that Diego and I would finally be fine.....
