7:00 in the morning was not the usual time for us to be in our special spot, but we were and I didn't mind it. Diego had woke me up with a tapping at my window and a bright smile. He didn't look how he did yesterday, which made me feel better.

"So what happened yesterday?" I asked.

"Well Jess and I got into an argument..."

"Oh." I shrugged.

"About you." He finished

"Ohhh...." I wasn't shocked that Jess would mention me since she doesn't like me, an argument was bound to happen.

"She texted me this morning tho and said she was sorry and asked me if I wamted to come to her house. I think I'm not gonna go." He shrugged.

"So you're gonna stay?" I questioned.

"Here with you." He gave me a smile and held me tight in his arms.

Later on I took the $7.00 and change from earlier this summer and headed to a nearby drug store to grab some pads because my stomach cramps were getting worse.

I walked down the aisle and grabbed a pack of pads and made my way towards the cash register.

"Cassie?" A familiar female voice spoke from behind me.

"Olivia?" I arched my brow and observed her stomach....she was pregnant. I guess that night I didn't notice because it was so dark.

"How have you been?" She asked.

"I'm great." I shrugged, "And you."

"I'm great." She replied.

I gave a nod and began to walk out the store with my bag.

"Hey wait." She stopped me.

"Hm?" I turned to her.

"I saw you coming in the store and I know its weird and we don't know each other but I need someone to um come to the clinic with me." She explained quickly, "Please...."

It was kind of awkward sitting at a clinic full of pregnant women and babies. It almost made me nervous. One little girl was staring at me so hard I thought her eyes would pop out of its socket.

"So what are you here for again?" I mumbled to her.

"I'm 6 months along and so I wanted to get my check up and find out the gender of my child." She smiled.

"Where's the father?" I questioned before I knew it.

"With his girlfriend." She slowly looked to the ground, "Either it was me or her and-"

"He chose her didn't he." I cut her off.

"He chose me." She slowly said as she met my eyes again, "And I had to let him be with her because she was pregnant as well."

"But if he chose you, why did you let her win?"

"Its not about winning or loosing with love, its about making choices, the right ones." She went on, "And I chose not to want my child to live in a trap house where drugs are being sold." She shrugged.

"Olivia Holton." The doctor came from the back with a clipboard in hand and a cheery smile.

"And that's our cue." She got up from her seat and walked through the door and I followed.

"Hello Miss.Holton." the doctor smiled, "Please lye down for me please." She instructed.

I tuned out the doctor and Olivia as I thought about the conversation we had back in the waiting room. The part where she said love isn't about loosing or winning. I couldn't wrap my mind around that. I thought that you always fought for your lover and eternal happiness, but I guess this was reality and not a fairy tail.

"Okay Miss.Holton there we have it, you're baby is healthy and you will be bringing a beautiful baby girl into this world." The doctor announced.

Olivia began to sob tears of joy, "A-a girl?"

I grabbed her hand and held it to comfort her and gave an assuring smile, "What are you gonna name her?" I questioned.

"Maggie....I-I'm gonna name her Maggie." She smiled as she eyed the ceiling.

"It was beautiful I had never experienced anything like that before." I spoke in complete awe.

Diego and I were sitting in our spot for the second time today eating ice cream.

"Olivia is a sweet girl." Diego shrugged, "I just really hate that her and Taylor couldn't be together they were so happy."

"Maybe it was for the best." I shrugged, "Doesn't he still have a girlfriend?"

"Yeah, but its not the same." Diego sighed as he licked his ice cream

"I wonder why my mom treats me like this." I spoke off the top of my head, "she doesn't even try to speak to me anymore."

"Maybe she's going through something."

"Or maybe she's ashamed of me." I sighed and took another lick of my sweet treat. "Why doesn't she love me?" I looked over at Diego.

He pulled me close to him and grabbed my hand and interlocked his fingers with mine, "If you ever feel unloved, just think of these words...Cassie I love you and that's all that matters."

"I love you too." I replied with shock as I realized the words that had just came out of his mouth. I laid my head on his chest and eyed the stars. The night was ours...we owned it.
