"Where's Spencer? We have a whole day of photographing!" Our boss Mary cheered.
She wheeled a giant cooler with our lunches under the main deck of our boat. Luke, Montana's partner followed suit carrying large crates of oxygen tanks.
"Go to my truck and grab the tanks, I need to help Mary prep the boat." We nodded and dashed to the car when we got back with the many tanks. We saw Spencer sitting on the boat glaring daggers into me.
"all right, let's go. We have fish to photograph!" Mary was bubbling with excitement as we strapped on our life jackets. I sat down next to Montana and the boat sped off. My mind clouded up with fear, Spencer was hella pissed off and we had to swim the reef together.
The boat started to slow down and dropped the anchor into the water.
"Wetsuits, cameras, tanks, notebooks!" The four of us divers stood up and ran to our things. I pulled of my shirt and shorts leaving me in my bikini set, the wetsuit went on first followed by oxygen tanks, goggles and the rest of our gear. I double checked to make sure my tank was working, unlike the last time. Spencer had messed with it, I ended up in the hospital, with a machine that helped me breathe.
We lined up on the edge of the boat and dove into the icy blue water moments after Montana and Luke. Clouds of bubbles formed around us as we swam to the sand bed. I was surrounded by life, fish of every shape and size swam around. I pulled out my camera and started to snap pictures of eels, and triggerfish, I followed around a lionfish and found a next of his eggs. I swam away after snapping a bunch of pictures.
Time passed and our oxygen levels started to drop. I insisted on getting some photos of the sharks. That's when my body started to burn up, just like it did earlier.
UNKNOWNS POV
"She's near us, I can feel her." I looked at my sapphire necklace to see it glowing brighter than before.
"Dude do you really believe that story?"
"I do."
CLEO'S POV
The sun is shining directly above you stupid!
But I'm also deep below the surface of the water, the sun shouldn't have this effect on me.
I threw my notebook and camera into the sand and swam into the under-sea cove. The blue abyss turned to grey, then black, swallowing my fragile body as I limply sank to the sand.
