"Earthquake!!!!" I rolled my eyes and grabbed the money off the counter.
"Hi I have four pizzas for, Cleopatra?" Fish and Montana were running around, screaming and barking.
"Are they high?" Asked the 20 something year old, grinning. I pinched the bridge of my nose.
"Fish is not, but the girl...probably."
"Cool." Within seconds the delivery man was inside my house and chasing my dog and best friend. My jaw dropped, not only was my friend going crazy, I was probably drying and didn't know it.
"Montana! Sit down and eat!" I pulled out a slice of all meat pizza and sat down on the love seat.
"Ohh pizza!"
"Nice of you to join." I looked into Fish's big brown eyes and tossed him some peperoni, "both of you. This is erm..."
"I Kai." He mumbled with a mouthful of pizza.
"Well Kai, don't you have other deliveries?"
"Yeah, but they can wait." We each grabbed another slice, "since you know my name, what's yours pretty lady?" Montana's eyes sparkled.
"Montana, pleasure to meet you." She giggled.
"Before you start flirting or fucking, whichever comes first. How old are you?"
"21, why are you like 10?"
"NO, I'm this many!" I held up four fingers. Montana sat closer to him and moved her fingers up his arm.
"We're 19." She winked, the grin on Kai's face grew larger. I rolled my eyes at the pair. I swear Montana has a habit of flirting herself into some interesting situations.
One time we went to get ice cream at the board walk, and she met a guy. Naturally they flirted, and he took her home.
Normal... right? Wrong!
Instead of having sex, he showed her his Tetris tatter tots. Yes, he shaped potatoes into the Tetris shapes and played with them. Needless to say, I never heard about him again.
I wonder what strange things Kai does...
I giggled as I imagined him turning snacks into art projects. Well with his raven hair, deep brown eyes, and perfect jawline, he looks like a cliché art student.
"I should get going, it was fun meeting you Cleopatra, and Montana." He walked out the door and into his delivery car.
"Well that was interesting..."
