She yelped and came running with a bottle of water. I took a few swigs and felt a little better.

"Excuse me ladies?" We looked up, a tall man with black hair and mesmerizing blue green eyes and the most perfect jawline ever. Butterflies took over, the heat somehow vanished. My stomach was flipping.

The man in black, he's the man in black. I'd know that deep voice anywhere!!!

"Can we help you?" Montana stood up with her hands on her hips.

"Hey! Watch it!" The water bottle fell and splashed the icy water all over me.

Well now I feel cooler...

The man looked past my friends semi- flirtatious look and extended his hand to me. I looked him up and smiled. My eyes sparkled as we locked eyes, a fire in my stomach ignited. Without breaking our gazes, I placed my hand in his, and he helped me up. I can't discribe the feeling, it was almost magical.

"I couldn't help but overhear, that the ocean bores you. I'd like to give you a job. If you're interested give me a call." He handed me a white business card, snakes and lizards surrounded his name and number: Dr. Adam Miller, PHD Exploratory Herpetology.

"Thank you, but what's herpetology?" I assume lizards, but one can never be sure. Adams eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Well I travel, explore and research various reptiles. It's quite exciting." I slide his card into my phone case and smiled. He started to turn away but stopped for a mere moment.

"Nice necklace, it matches mine." He revealed a delicate chain with a deep purple sapphire.

My other half!

As the mysterious Adam Miller Walked away, I just had to say something. I jogged up to him and grabbed his hand. Electricity shot through my hand, again.

"You were in my dream. You said something to me." I repeated the sentence back, "you are closer than you think,"

"Open your eyes." He finished. "I'm the man of your dreams, and your soulmate." Adam winked and left me shocked. I held the pendant tightly against my chest and sighed.
