chapter 14: Lyndsay

We've been at this stupid hospital for hours. I just want to know if my mom is okay. God I hope she is. Tobias says he barley felt a pulse when he checked it and didn't think it would do much just to bring her here. He said she was practically dead. I look over at my brother and his friend. She's holding his hand looking at him. She lifts a hand and places it on his face and look into his eyes. The look she gives him has so much love and care in it. Tobias kisses her then pulls back. He looks down and then at me. He beckons me over to him. I get up and go to him. He sits me on his lap since there isn't anymore seats. His friend, I'm now guessing his girlfriend lays her head on his shoulder and holds one of his hands.

"Eaton family." a nurse calls to us. me and Tobs get up and walk over to her.

"You coming?" I ask my brother's girlfriend. she shakes her head

"I'll let you have time with your mother." she says. I nod and walk over to Tobs.

"Your mother has lost too much blood. and we don't have anymore of her blood type. we looked at your medical records already and neither of you have the same type she does. I'm sorry but unless we have someone donate positive O blood she won't make it." I began to cry. I can't loose her. She was the only one there for me when my brother couldn't. she took all those beatings from my father and still seemed strong. I couldn't bare to loose her.

"You can test me. you know to see if I have the right type." says a voice behind us. I look back and see my brother's girlfriend walking towards us.

"Okay if you'll just follow me" the nurse say motioning her to follow. Tobs stops her

"Tris. You don't have to do this."

"But I want to I can't stand seeing you hurt." she says the starts to walk away. He grabs her wrist kisses her and let's go.

"TRIS!" I yell. she turns around.

"Thank you." I say running to her. Then I hug her.

let's just hope that she's a match.
