I walk to the back with the nurse. she takes some blood and test it. five minutes later she tells me I am a match and take blood and sends me back to the waiting room with Tobias and his little sister. I walk out the door and they are back in the seats we were in when I left.
"Sooooo"
"Sooooo what?" Tobias' little sister narrows her eyes at me then lights up when she looks at my arm where they took blood from.
"TOBS MOM IS GOING TO BE OKAY." I look down because the nurse told me the doctor said even if I give her blood. it's completely up to her if she want to live or not. she'll be in a coma. Tobias notices me looking down.
"Tris can I talk to you for a second." I nod and walk away. He tell his sister to stay there and save our seats till we get back. He walk over to me and grabs my hand.
"What's wrong?"
"N-nothing." I bite my lip not looking in his eyes.
"You're lying. you only look away if you're lying and bite you lip when you're hiding something or nervous. so what's wrong?"
"Well."
"Tris what aren't you telling me"
"Theysaidthateventhoughigaveherblooditscomepletelyuptohereifsheslivesornot." I look at him catching my breath from talking fast. He looks at me like he's trying to process what I said then looks confused.
"Say that again. I don’t understand." I close my eyes and sigh.
"They said that even though I gave her blood. it's completely up to her if she want to live or not. she'll most likely be in a coma. for a while."
Oh is all he says before we go back to where his sister is. Then the nurse walks out.
"Eaton family?"
