l look up and see the doctor. I get up and walk over to her.
"Hi. your mom is in recovery right now. You can go back to see her in. she's in room 209."
I look back at Lyndsay and wave her over.
"Come on we are going to see mom." she nods and we go to her room. I told Tris to go home and get some rest a while back. We walk in our mom's hospital room. she's hooked up to different machines. she has on of those mask that gives her oxygen. lyndsay runs up to the side of the bed and grabs her hand then starts crying. I go to the other side of the hospital bed and grab her other hand. A tear slowly goes down my face. I never cry, but this is my mother. The one that would go through hell just to keep my father from hurting me and my sister. The one that was there when I needed her. The one person I'd tell everything to. I don't know what I would do without her.
The nurse comes in and tells us visiting hours are over and that is was time for us to leave. I nod and look back at my mom.
"I love you mom." I say with tears rolling down my face. I bend down and kiss her cheek. Lyndsay does the same and we leave, but we don't go home.
