I didn't bother with him. Do I have to say it all the time? We were having a late dinner. I left work as early as I could on Friday, but I still didn't make it to Ming's apartment until a little after eight pm. He was dressed and ready, but I still had him wait a bit longer because there's no way I'm going out without taking a shower. Especially not after how hot the day has been.

It was nearly nine pm by the time we walked into the restaurant. It wasn't too crowded. The restaurant had a quiet yet exquisite atmosphere to it. The brick pillars, which were artfully spaced all through the room with low lights decoratively shining from them, the slow music playing in the background and the intimate setting of the seats - our legs rubbed against each other all through dinner- added a romantic touch.
