A week went by fast, especially to Himika. She's dreaded this day the entire week. The day they leave for for Konoha to retrieve Sasuke.
She found she couldn't sleep, but stayed in her bed anyway. When Kabuto knocked on her door she let out a groan before throwing herself out of bed.
"Meet me at the entrance in ten minutes." Kabuto ordered before walking away.
Himika threw on her clothes and adjusted her hair and headband before heading out to meet Kabuto by the entrance.
At the entrance she saw the Sound Four waiting, this time with one extra person. He had long white hair, green eyes and red markings on his forehead in the shape of dots. He also wore a purple kimono and what looked like red eyeshadow.
"Ahh Himika, glass to see you're on time as usual." Kabuto greeted in a sing-song voice.
Himika simply nodded and turned her attention back to the stranger, who was now starting back at her incuriosity.
"Oh, I forgot you twohaven't met." Kabuto chuckled. "Himika, this is Kimimaro. Kimimaro, this is Himika."
"Nice to meet you." Kimimaro said quietly, inclining his neck in a bow.
"Likewise." She replied, bowing her head.
"Great, now that that's over with, it's time you all got going." Kabuto said.
"Hai." They all replied.
Tayuya led the way out of the hideout and began leading the way to Konoha. The trip was silent until she spoke up.
"Does everyone remember the plan?" Tayuya asked.
"Hai." Everyone else replied.
"Good. I hate repeating myself." She muttered.
Himika reviewed the plan in her head. They sneak her in, she goes to get Sasuke, they meet up with the others and flee the village. A pretty simply plan, but one that could also go terribly wrong.
They traveled in silence for a few hours before Tayuya said they were merely an hour away. The sun was setting at a steady pace and nightfall would soon be upon them, the dark providing them cover.
Soon enough, the moon had risen and Konoha's gates stood just before them. They scaled the wall using chakra and prepared their plan on top of the wall.
"Himika, you're up." Tayuya said.
Himika nodded and turned towards the village. She took a deep breath through her nose and tried to find Sasuke's scent. It had only taken a few seconds to recognize the familiar scent.
"Found him." Himika stated.
"Time for phase two then." Tayuya whispered.
Without another word, Himika jumped off the wall, landing unharmed on the ground below with the silent 'tap' of her sandals. The usual sleeping guards, Izumo and Kotetsu, payed her no mind when she landed in front of them.
Himika followed her nose to Sasuke's scent, weaving in and out of alleys before ending up on a street lined with cherry blossom tree's. Only a few feet in front of her stood Sasuke, in the middle of being confronted by Sakura.
"Y-you're leaving?" She cried.
"I have to get stronger, I have to kill Itachi. Goodbye Sakura." He said.
"Wait Sasuke! If you don't I'll scream!" She threatened, desperately trying to change his mind.
Himika would have laughed at Sakura's pathetic attempt to keep Sasuke in Konoha, but the situation didn't look good for Sasuke or Sakura. Himika slowly stepped forward so that she stood by Sasuke.
"Are you prepared to leave?" Himika asked.
Sasuke jumped from her sudden appearance, but quickly got over it.
"Hai." He replied.
"Himika! Sasuke! Wait! I'll scream!" She threatened again.
She opened her mouth to scream, but in a flash Sasuke was behind. He placed a hand over her mouth and whispered in her ear.
"Thank you Sakura." He whispered.
And with a swift chop, he knocked her out, laying her down under a cherry blossom tree on a stone bench.
Sasuke turned back to face Himika, he stuffed his hands in his pockets, and waited for Himika to lead the way.
"Let's go." He ordered, beginning to walk to the gates.
'I thought I was in charge.' Himika thought, resisting the urge to roll her eyes.
Himika replied with a quick 'yes' and began leading the way back to the others.
"Great job!" Kidomaru exclaimed, slapping her back with three arms.
"Shut up! Do you want the guards to hear us?!" Tayuya yelled in a whisper.
Kidomaru used an arm to rub his neck in a sheepish way.
"Whoops?" He said nervously.
Tayuya's eyebrows twitched in annoyance, but she quickly ignored his and got back on track.
"Nice to have you with us Sasuke." Tayuya said with a satisfyed smirk on her face. "In order to advance your curse mark Orochimaru has instructed us to give you this pill and carry you in a special sealed box back to the hideout."
Tayuya handed Sasuke a small black pill and instructed him to chew it. He crunched it between his teeth before being told to get into the small cylinder shaped box. The box was then sealed tight with ropes and paper seals. Tayuya handed the box to Jirobo, he used some roped to wear it like a backpack and tied it onto his shoulders and back.
"Time to go." Tayuya said, noticing the moons slow descent.
"Hai." They all replied, Sasuke now unconscious in the wooden box.
"It won't be long until Konohagakure's on our tail." Tayuya muttered, taking off into the forest and leading everyone behind her.
~Konohagakure the next day~
Sakura had woken up on a bench, confused and with a splitting headache.
Her confusion only lasted a minute before her mind wandered to the night before.
"Thank you."
Those were the last words Sasuke told her before he left with Himika, a girl she now considered as a traitor.
She quickly stood up and started running to the Hokage's office as fast as her feet could carry her. When she arrived at the Hokages office the first thing she did was swing open the door, not even bothering to knock.
Lady Tsunade quickly looked up from her stack of paperwork, confused about the pink haired girls sudden appearance. Sakura burst into tears, crying hysterically muttering something that was impossible to understand.
"Calm down Sakura! I can't understand you!" Lady Tsunade yelled, slamming her face down on her desk to gain Sakura's attention.
"Sasuke's gone! He left last night and Himika was with him!" Sakura exclaimed.
Lady Tsunade's face went from a look of horror to a look of anger. She slammed her face down on her desk again before sighing.
"I've waited long enough to declare Himika as a rouge ninja! If you can't bring Sasuke and Himika back then they will both be rogue ninja!" Lady Tsunade exclaimed. "You have one hour to gather a team to go get them back! Get on it Sakura!"
Sakura didn't bother with any formalities and simply ran out of the office, off to go tell Naruto the devastating news and gather a team.
'Why did you leave Sasuke?!' She thought with tear filled eyes. 'Why?!'
