Himika finished brushing her long white hair and tied it up in its usual black ribbon before wrapping her red scarf around her neck. She checked herself in the mirror once before heading out, to school of course.
It had been around a month since she started at the academy and now it was time for the genin exams, to determine who can become a genin. She left without eating breakfast of course, but felt hungry. It had been a month since she last ate so tonight she would go find something to eat. Over the past month she hasn't really made any friends other than Shikamaru, all of the girls seemed to hate her already. All except one shy girl who sat near the front of the class, but they never talked to each other. She avoided Sasuke because she didn't like how he acts or the feeling she gets around him and Naruto is a class clown and much to loud for her liking. Over this month Shikamaru helped her discover what an 'Emo' is and what 'Fangirls' are. So far she didn't like either.
Himika walked by herself to the academy, deciding that she needed to buy another bag later. It was still early and not many people were up, despite her looks Himika was very excited to graduate. She had left a little earlier than normal because she couldn't sleep last night and wanted the test to be over with.
Himika walked into class and sat down in her normal seat, Shikamaru wasn't here yet but he sat next to her. Himika's visible eye scanned the room to see if any of her classmates were here already. The only other person in the room was Sasuke, she quickly looked away from him, but she could feel his eyes on her. She looked back and the two made eye contact, Himika quickly turned away, she didn't like the way he was staring.
Soon enough others came into class and Sasuke looked away from Himika and looked at the floor instead. Shikamaru came into class and Himika talked with him a little until Iruka-sensei came in.
"Alright everyone, when I call your name come into the testing room to do your exam. We will be testing you all on the clone jutsu." Iruka said as he got the class to be quiet.
Naruto paled and everyone else looked determined. Himika kept a blank face, she already knew most genin level jutsus.
"Himika, you're up first." Iruka said.
Himika nodded and stood up, she probably went first because she doesn't have a last name.
"Alright in order to pass you need to make three clones." Iruka said as they entered the testing room.
Himika nodded her head and brought her hands together. There was a puff of smoke and three identicals clones stood next to the original. As Iruka scribbled stuff down on his clipboard Himika noticed the stranger sitting next to him.
"Who is that?" Himika asked, pointing at the stranger.
"Oh, you can just call him Mizuki-sensei." Iruka answered.
Mizuki waved at the girl, but she didn't wave back at him.
"You pass! Pick any headband you want!" Iruka cheered, happy that she passed.
Himika looked at the blue headbands before asking a question.
"Have any in red?" She asked, not wanting to get a blue one.
Iruka nodded. "Yeah, give me a second."
Iruka dug around under the table until he brought out a red headband and handed it to her. Himika took the headband and walked out of the testing room, she thought about where to put it and settled with tying it around her left arm, just below her shoulder. She waited for a little, only wanting to know if he passed. Shikamaru walked out of the testing room with a blue head band tied around his right arm.
"Congratulations on passing." Himika said to her only friend.
"Yeah congrats to you too." Shikamaru replied lazily.
The two chatted a little until Shikamaru went to his family who were all waiting for the young Nara. Himika decided to go home, she didn't need to wait around for anybody. She walked past Naruto who looked up Himika for a second, confused as to why she wasn't with her family. Himika glanced at Naruto, she didn't see a headband and figured he didn't pass.
'Well that's too bad for him.' Himika thought without sympathy as she walked home to get ready for tonight.
On the way home she stopped at a shop and bought a black bag, identical to the one she had before. She had changed into her hunting clothes and waited for it to get dark before she went out. She left her bedroom window open and dashed out of her house, stopping on a rooftop to sniff around for anything. Nothing caught her attention until she could smell blood, fresh blood. She followed the smell to the forest and hid her chakra, making sure to hide in the tree's. She saw Iruka handing Naruto his head band after they had defeated Mizuki-sensei. She was tempted to take Mizuki and eat him just because she never liked him, but it would be suspicious if he disappeared so she left them be and sped back into the village to find a meal.
She found a homeless guy living in an alley and decided he wouldn't be missed. She stayed on the roof of the building and her four purple tentacles grabbed him and pulled him onto the roof. One tentacle covered his mouth and the other three began strangling him. The man struggled for a while before he gave up and died. Himiko stuffed his body into her bag and ran home, she jumped into her house using the open window. She undid her bandage mask and began to eat her dinner, savoring it because she wouldn't eat again for a while. She stuffed the bones back into the bag and left to bury the evidence. She went to a secluded part of the forest and quickly buried the bones. After disposing of the remains she went home to sleep, tomorrow was a big day.
